Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic

8 Jul 2012

I don't think it is actually possible for me to express how much I adore Lush fresh face masks. I have only been introduced to them over the past four months and I have tried and tested three, which are now my favourite masks, ever! So I thought I should do some full reviews for you all! You can read my first review of a Lush fresh face mask, brazened honey, here!

Catastrophe Cosmetic is advertised as a mask to battle spots and blemishes and to battle against any flaring up skin problems. It contains Irish moss gel which softens the skin, whilst almond oil moisturises and keeps your skin feeling supple! There's fresh blueberries (which you can see in the photos!) which are full of vitamins, minerals and are a great anti-oxidant! There's also rose absolute and chamomile essential oil which reduce redness and irritation, as well as calamine and talc which work to deep clean and soothe the skin. Sounds amazing, doesn't it?

All of these ingredients work together to give the skin a deep cleanse, without causing puffiness, and leave your face feeling cool, clear and calm. And to top it off, it smells absolutely amazing! The blueberries really shine through with this amazing fresh face mask!

I like to do a Lush fresh face mask 1-2 times a week and I alternate between my three favourites; brazened honey, love lettuce and catastrophe cosmetic. I never thought I would find a face mask I loved more than brazened honey, but I have to say, this has done it! It feels amazing as you put it on, making it so easy to apply, and the after effects of it really are just that amazing. This has become a God send in my skin care routine and a product I genuinely wouldn't want to live without!

Have you tried Catastrophe Cosmetic? What do you think to it? What is your favourite face mask?
