Hello, I'm Sophia - welcome to Tattooed Tealady.
Tattooed Tealady was founded in April 2012, as a way to share my love for beauty and give friends a break who had to listen to my never-ending rambles about makeup. What started as a casual hobby sharing the odd post here and there soon became a new found obsession, leaving me addicted to the world of blogging and Tattooed Tealady soon became a blog which was updated daily - something I have continued for over 3 years.
What started out as a beauty blog rambling about my favourite makeup products soon led me to share my love for other aspects of beauty, too, covering everything from makeup to body care, hair care and even skincare. Over the years, writing Tattooed Tealady has presented me with incredible opportunities to both work with brands on a personal level, learning about new product launches and getting behind-the-scenes knowledge on the latest innovations, as well as being an incredible way to expand my own personal knowledge on the ever-expanding, ever-changing and constantly developing beauty world.
Although Tattooed Tealady started out as a beauty blog, which is still the predominant theme now in 2015, this blog has also expanded to include other topics; sharing lifestyle posts from a normal 27 year old Country bumpkin with a penchant for tea and relaxed days at home, to book reviews, recipe posts and restaurant reviews, and most recently, a place to document my journey through my first pregnancy, with plans to include parenting posts from January 2016.
A little bit more about me? I am 27, live in the heart of the British Countryside and have a Psychology Bsc degree. I am a self-confessed bookworm, drink more tea than is sane and have an undying love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have an inquisitive interest in body modification, using my own body as a canvas, covering my skin with tattoos as well as having my fair share of piercings and stretched lobes. I have dreams of a cottage in the middle of nowhere, my own library to disappear into and a big kitchen to while away the hours. I work full time as well as writing Tattooed Tealady, creating daily content on a variety of topics, and when I'm not working or blogging you can usually find me with my head in a book, binging on Netflix or indulging in a hot bubble bath.
