Urban Decay Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette Review

The run up to Christmas can often be even more exciting than the big day itself and I absolutely adore making festive plans with friends and family to take advantage of all the Christmas celebrations. Meals with friends and family get-togethers, gift-swapping and work Christmas parties, many of us like to get a new outfit or get their hair done; I like to spend my time finding the perfect makeup to wear with whatever I pull out of my wardrobe.

The new and very limited edition Urban Decay Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette (£31.50) is a stunning take on last year's lipstick palettes, a selection of shades ranging from nudes to pinks and purples, bold reds and deep berries, with a metallized or a matte finish that's comfortable to wear and easy to apply. It's presented in the same sleek palette format as last year, with a big compact mirror, 12 shades protected by a firm cover and a lip brush included.

The shade selection is absolutely spot-on for me and I would happily use every single shade within the palette. So far I've been sticking to the nudes and berries, but I think the two bold and bright reds are going to be a firm contender for my Christmas Day makeup! The shades have been organised by finish and colour family, with the top row being all Metallized shades, with the coordinating matte shades on the bottom row.

Six of the shades are from the Urban Decay range, with six new shades for this palette - with it being limited edition, it's likely to sell out before Christmas - so make sure to add it to your Christmas list now or pick it up as a Christmas treat from you to you, before it's too late!

BANGER is a deep oxblood with Metallized finish
AMULET is a metallic brick rose with a Metallized finish
FAST TALK is a mauve-nude pink with a Metallized finish
