June 2017 Papergang Subscription Review

I recently shared my thoughts on the Ohh Deer Papergang Subscription Box, with a full review of the March, April and May boxes. My June box coincidentally arrived the very same day as I posted my Papergang feature and I was overjoyed with the contents inside. Funnily enough, I wasn't too sure whether to stay subscribed - I love the boxes but I am ending up with quite a pile of notebooks! -, but there's a nice little incentive with your 4th Papergang box which persuaded me to stay subscribed and I am so glad I did!

The little incentive that kept me subscribed for my 4th box is the Papergang x Tree Aid collaboration. Papergang have partnered with the International Development Charity Tree Aid, whereby for every four boxes Papergang sell, one tree is planted in association with the charity. The charity has been a huge benefit to those across Africa, helping to grow more than 10 million trees which are planted in African dry-lands. For me, this was reason enough to stay subscribed for another month and I'm happy to be 'doing my bit' so to say!

OK, onto the contents. The first thing I spotted had me absolutely delighted and that was a Brass Ruler. I've been meaning to buy a ruler for months now as I want to try my hand at bullet journals and this brass ruler is so much better than the plastic one I would have picked up from the supermarket! This itself has an RRP of £9.95, so that's the cost of the box covered with just one of the four printed included inside.

Next up we have an A5 Lined Notebook designed by Susan Castillo, worth £12.95. I adore the dark hues for this and the plant leaf design. The inside is also fab; lined with each page having a section for you to put in the date, the layout is enticing me to start writing a sporadic diary!

As with all the boxes I have so far received through my Papergang subscription, there is a Greeting Card which matches the theme of the notebook, created by the same designer, and a Riso Printed Calendar for August, so that will go nicely stuck on the wall above my desk so I can keep track of where I am.

I love this box and it's made me really excited to see what is inside the July box. I'm not sure if I'll keep my subscription going for the rest of the year, purely because I am getting quite the collection of notebooks, more so than I can use, but there's just something about this box that I adore!

What do you think to the June box? Does it make you tempted to subscribe yourself? Let me know, and if you are interested in subscribing, head to papergang.ohhdeer.com.
