Lush Sleepy Body Lotion Review

Back in January I shared a feature on my 'Lush haul perfect for winter pampering', which included Sleepy Body Lotion, at the time a limited edition product for the Christmas collection. I'm thrilled to share the news that Lush have now made Sleepy Body Lotion a permanent addition to their range, so any of you who missed out the first time around, you can now pick it up both online and in your local Lush store!

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion Review

Sleepy was incredibly popular over Christmas so I don't doubt there will be a lot of happy people now it's been re-released. The lotion itself has the perfect consistency; not too thick so that it's difficult to massage into skin, but with enough substance to it to leave skin feeling the benefits, without leaving a greasy residue. It's available in two sizes; a 95g tub will cost you £7.95, whilst a 215g tub will cost you £13.95. I use this only at night time, before bed, and mine has lasted fairly well, especially as I sometimes use it on Willow as well if she's having a late bath before bed.

It's formulated with a gentle Oatmeal infusion, alongside balancing and calming Lavender Oil, as well as Lavender Water, sweet, heady and floral Ylang Ylang Oil and sweetly scented Tonka Absolute, with a generous helping of creamy Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter. The lotion itself is Lavender in colour and so I kind of presumed it would just smell like Lavender, but actually, there is a definite richness and floral note that I find really relaxing and soothing.

For me, this is one of those stand-out Lush products that everyone should try. Will you be adding Lush Sleepy Body Lotion to your beauty wishlist?

Available online at uk.lush.com and in-stores nationwide.
