Holy Grail Moisturiser for Dry Skin

I have used, adored and repurchased the Weleda Skin Food for several years now, an incredible multi-purpose product that has well earned a full post dedicated to it. If you have dry or rough skin, this really is a wonderful, and very budget-friendly, product that is well worth looking into adding to your beauty stash.

Weleda Skin Food for Dry and Rough Skin Review

I first came across Skin Food as a sample many years ago in one of the beauty boxes I used to subscribe to. Already being a fan of Weleda, I was excited to try another one of their products and since then it has been a holy grail product that I always ensure I have a backup tube of. To look at it, it doesn't look like anything special. A 75ml green tube with very simple packaging, yet this multi-purpose cream is anything but simple.

Suitable for use on your face, elbows, hands and feet, this powerful moisturiser is exactly what it says on the tube; skin food. With extracts of Viola Tricolor, Calendula and Chamomile, combined with a thick rich base of oils and beeswax, it works to give skin a deep boost of nourishment.

In the winter months, it works amazingly well on any dry and dehydrated areas on my face, almost like a miracle worker, soothing and hydrating my skin overnight. All year round it works wonders on dry areas such as my elbows, knees and feet, keeping them soft and moisturised. I also find it amazing for when my hands are really suffering, from cold weather and overuse.

I'm not always a fan of multi-purpose products, finding some of them more of a gimmick than anything else, but the Weleda Skin Food is a multi-purpose product I simply can't be without! For just £10.95 for a 75ml tube (which lasts ages!), you really can't go wrong.
