Exfoliating pads from Nip + Fab

Yesterday I shared exfoliating lip treatments from GLAMGLOW, but today I wanted to concentrate on exfoliating facial pads from Nip + Fab. I used to be very one-product-only when it came to facial exfoliation, only having tried what I like to call 'manual exfoliators'; lotions and creams with exfoliating beads or ground nut shells that honestly did my skin more harm than good.

In my early 20's, through blogging no less, I came across chemical exfoliators, exfoliating toners, pads and serums, even exfoliating night creams, and I much prefer the way my skin looks and feels without needing to manually scrub something into my skin. An incredibly quick and easy way to exfoliate is by using facial pads, which can be used both morning and night, and Nip + Fab have a huge range, well loved by skincare adorers on all budgets.

Nip + Fab Treatment Pads Review

The Nip + Fab exfoliating treatment pads are probably the most purse-friendly I've come across. Of course, I have my high-end favourites when it comes to skincare, but with a brand like Nip + Fab you can get the same effective results for a much smaller price point, which is great for those of you wanting to up your skincare game but needing to stick to a more modest budget.

Over the past few months I've been trying three different treatment pads from Nip + Fab; the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads (£12.95), Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads (£14.95) and the Nip + Fab Bee Sting Fix Toning Pads (£12.95). With each being less than £15 for a tub of 60 treatment pads which will last you a couple of months, it's really not a bad price at all!

Should you be adding exfoliating treatment pads into your routine? For me, they are hugely beneficial to my skin. Not only do they help to keep my skin clear, particularly around my t-zone which is always a bugbear for me, and they make my skin feel much smoother and softer. I find overall they help to keep my skin happier too, and if I do get any blemishes or breakouts, they help to reduce any scarring and speed up the healing process.

The Nip + Fab Bee Sting Fix Toning Pads contain Bee Venom, which plumps and firms the appearance of skin, Propolis Extract, an antioxidant and antiseptic which heals skin, Witch Hazel, which helps to reduce swelling, repair broken skin and fight bacteria, and Allantoin, which helps to provide skin with a natural protectant, encouraging cell generation. Bee Venom has become more and more popular in skincare products over recent years, but this is the first product I've tried with Bee Venom in myself; if you have any sort of allergies or sensitivity to bee stings, obviously these won't be for you.

To use I would simply wipe a single pad over my face, neck and decolletage, after cleansing, followed by my usual skincare routine. I tended to use these in the evening after my nightly cleansing routine, and no more than 3-4 times a week. Did I notice a difference? I'd say my skin definitely looked clearer, looked firmer and overall, looked a little healthier too, which is probably down to the hardworking antiseptic and antioxidant ingredients used.

The Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads are the first pads of their kind which I have used, that can be used daily; most recommend using at most a few times a week due to the strength of the ingredients, whereas the ingredients in the Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads is just right for daily use. There are three-star ingredients for the daily cleansing pads; Glycolic Acid, which works to retexture and resurfaces skin, Hyaluronic Acid, which helps to refresh skin and add much-needed moisture, and Blue Daisy; which soothes and calms. Although I find these don't have that instant smoother texture that stronger exfoliating treatment pads have, they're very nice for daily use and help to keep my skin calm, softer and particularly with blemishes, help heal and calm skin much quicker.

The Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads are stronger, and as such should be used at most 2-3 times a week. They contain 5% Glycolic Acid, which works to gently exfoliate skin, helping to reduce and face skin discolouration from acne scarring and pigmentation, Salicylic Acid, which deeply penetrates pores and helps to combat blackheads, ultimately helping to reduce blemishes and breakouts, Lactic Acid which helps to remove dead cells and toxins from skin, for a smoother and more even tone, alongside Hyaluronic Acid, which helps to boost skin hydration, leaving skin feeling softer and plumper.

I much prefer the way my skin feels in the days after using the Glycolic Fix Night Pads, which is ultimately smoother, softer, clearer and firmer to the touch, without feeling dry or uncomfortable as some exfoliating products can do to my skin. My skin just looks much happier after using these pads, clearer, brighter, refreshed. Of all three of the pads I have been using from Nip + Fab, these are the ones I will be repurchasing!

Have you tried any of the Nip + Fab pads before? Do you have a favourite Nip + Fab product you think I should be adding into my routine?
