The Bobbi Brown Illuminating Cheek Palette (£35) is a limited edition cheek palette from the Havana Collection, available in two shade options; Guava and Peach. We're talking the perfect summer trio which covers bronze, blush and highlight in one, presented in a gorgeous bright compact palette. Each shade can be used individually or layered together for that extra something-something when we're looking for the perfect summer glow. Just the right amount of colour, a lovely hint of shimmer and naturally looking glow that makes this trio my go-to for bronzed summer chic. The palette includes a large mirror and is lightweight, so great for travelling or on-the-go application.

I've been putting the Peach Illuminating Cheek Palette to the test and although I usually opt for darker shades, I think Peach, which is the lighter of the two palettes on offer, is incredibly complimentary against my natural olive complexion. The bronze shade is a light pinky brown with a really lovely subtle glow to it, the blush shade is a bright nectar which will make any look pop and the highlight is a lovely peachy champagne, great for anyone who wants to avoid over-shimmery and flashy highlighters, with a really beautifully soft finish that catches the light in a really flattering way. The shades really work so wonderfully together that even the most novice of makeup lovers would be able to create a flawless summer look.

As with any limited edition product, it won't be around for long and at £35 it's not too badly priced either. Each shade is very decent in size and it works out at around £11.66 per shade; when you consider how much individual bronzers, blushes and highlights cost for a similar size, it's quite a bargain really!

Bobbi Brown recently released a liquid lipstick range, the Art Stick Liquid Lip (£21.50), which features 17 delicious shades covering everything from neutral pinks and soft nudes to bold brights and deep reds and purples. The Havana Brights Collection features Pink Punch, Papaya and Havana Coral, the latter of which I am determined to add to my lipstick collection as it just looks absolutely beautiful! Each of these shades can be found in the new Art Stick Liquid Lip range, so not limited edition like the palette.

The Art Stick Liquid Lip range is presented in a squeezable tube with a click-on cap, with full pigment coverage, a creamy, hydrating formula and a slanted applicator tip. I adore liquid lacquers, but this is the first I have tried which comes in a squeezy tube. I like it, but, I do find the applicator can get quite messy with this kind of application and it doesn't provide the most precise application, so you might do well to use a lip brush if you want a really precise colour. Application aside the formula is lovely, comfortable to wear and the shade itself lasts a decent amount of time; not all day wear, you'll definitely need to reapply, but the beautiful soft matte finish makes this a winner for me.
