Berry Reds with Beards & Daisies

Christmas is over and 2017 is just hours away, where has 2016 gone? It feels like it's flown by! The Christmas decorations have all been put away in our home, making way for a fresh start with the new year. What better way to get your home ready for a brand new start, than beautiful bouquets to brighten your home and lift your mood?

Beards & Daisies Hand-tied Bouquet Review
Beards & Daisies Hand-tied Bouquet Review

In the run up to Christmas, we had a gorgeous display of colour with a berry-themed bouquet from Beards & Daisies, a wonderful online florist which has quickly become my favourite, teaming gorgeous flowers with a stunning colour palette and creating bouquets that really stand out and make a statement.

The bouquet which brought some much-needed colour to our home was a mix of white, green and beautiful berries, and has such a sweet subtle scent that was beautiful to come down to in the mornings.  The winter collection features a gorgeous array of bouquets which team bold berries with subtle whites and creams and flowers which perfectly fit the season, and that dreaded cold weather. You can check out the full winter collection over on www.beardsanddaisies.co.uk; I think White Christmas is my favourite!

Over the past couple of months, I've shared a 3 part interview with the founder of Beards & Daisies, Joanne. You can catch part one in my feature on British Flowers from Beards & Daisies and part two in my feature Brightening Up Our Home with Beards & Daisies; now it's time to get stuck in with the final two questions, a look behind the scenes of Beards & Daisies.
Flowers can be a simple yet beautiful way to send a message for all occasions. How do you ensure Beards & Daisies bouquets stand out from other florists? - It's a very competitive market and my goal is to ensure that my customers feel as though they have received flowers from their local high street florist, no matter where they are in the Country. It should be a lovely gifting experience, with gorgeous wrapping and a full sized greeting card (not just a small post card which leans against the vase, a frusration of mine!).
What inspires each individual bouquet, from the names you choose to the flowers included? - Each bouquet is inspired by the lyrics of a song or a reference to a group/band. I couldn't get through the day without music. Sometimes it's what I'm listening to at the time of creating a bouquet, it's certainly a fun process!
The year may be over and a fresh start about to begin, but one thing we'll certainly be taking from 2016 into 2017 with us, is our love for Beards & Daisies. Why not treat yourself to a bouquet to brighten up your home for the new year or surprise someone who could do with a pick-me-up with a beautiful hand-tied bouquet to kick off their new year? I know it won't be long before we're making a Beards & Daisies order again!
