Last Christmas as part of my Luxurious Christmas Gift Guide, I shared the Neal's Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Organic Collection as a perfect Christmas gift, featuring three organic products which help to aid sleep whilst pampering face and body at the same time. Throughout 2016 I have been using the products included in this collection, and having recently finished the last drop of all three products, I wanted to share my thoughts with you on this rather wonderful selection of organic beauty.
For those new to Neal's Yard Remedies, it has to be said that they really are a lovely brand with a gorgeous selection of products and some wonderful ethics. I first came across Neal's Yard Remedies back when I was in University, wasting away an afternoon in Camden, I had taken a walk down to Chalk Farm and came across one of their stand alone stores. I made my first purchase that day, the Neal's Yard Remedies Rosemary and Cedarwood Hair Treatment, easily one of the best hair treatments I have ever used. Ever since, I've been a huge fan, forever lusting after their expansive product ranges and beautiful collections, they make such wonderful gifts.
All of their products are cruelty free, natural and organic, with ranges which cover skincare, body care, hair care as well as aromatherapy and well being ranges. Their products vary in price, so you're bound to find a product within your price range, and all of the products I have tried over the years have been a joy to use. Not only are their products fabulous, but I have found their staff in the stores I have visited across London to be so welcoming, informative and a pleasure to shop with.
The Beauty Sleep Organic Collection, presented in a beautiful floral gift box, features three very generously sized products; Beauty Sleep Body Butter, Beauty Sleep Bath Milk and Beauty Sleep Concentrate.
I kept the Beauty Sleep Bath Milk for those rare occasions I would manage to grab a late night bath, wanting to unwind and de-stress after a long day, a real treat that never failed to help me get ready for a peaceful sleep. The only product of the three I can't find on the website to buy individually, it's a great starting point for the collection and has the most soothing scent.
Whenever I used my Bath Milk, I'd follow up with the Beauty sleep Body Butter; a light-weight body butter which works to deeply nourish skin, using essential oils and organic butters which soften and soothe. The scent is just so lovely and has a definite calming effect, using Ylang Ylang and Patchouli essential oils alongside Organic Shea and Cocoa butters. It's great for all skin types and although not the most hydrating of body butters, it really does help to keep you feeling relaxed and serene come bed time. As well as being included in the collection, in a generous 100g size, it's available in full size at £23 for a 200g pot.
Last but not least and my favourite product of the collection, the Beauty Sleep Concentrate features in it's full size, 30ml, which is worth £32.50. A best-selling product, it's a lightweight serum which works to replenish and recharge skin overnight, when our skin is working hardest to regenerate and repair. It uses a smoothing tripeptide and calming blend of essential oils, including Ylang Ylang, aiming to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as moisturising skin. Overall a really lovely overnight serum that has left my skin feeling pampered, plump and smoother come morning.
This collection is a fantastic way to delve into the Neal's Yard Remedies range, a lovely treat for a loved one or even yourself. The collection costs £45, which is fantastic when you consider that the Beauty Sleep Concentrate alone costs £32.50, as well as being available with free delivery on the Neal's Yard Remedies website. I cannot recommend checking out the full range enough, you're bound to find a product that you fall head over heels in love with.
