For a good couple of years I stuck with the same eye cream for my night time skincare routine, my ever faithful Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye. I never thought I'd find another eye cream I love as much for giving my skin some TLC overnight, when our bodies work hardest to repair and protect, that was until I tried the very budget-friendly and vegan friendly White Rabbit Skincare Eye Cream, easily the loveliest eye cream I have ever tried for the price and one I couldn't be without now. Having found the perfect alternative as a night time eye cream, I started my hunt for the perfect eye cream for my morning routine, in the hopes of creating the perfect eye care duo. Introducing Neal's Yard Remedies Frankincense Intense Eye Cream.
I've tried a lot of body care from Neal's Yard Remedies, but I'm still dipping my toes in to the huge product range when it comes to skincare. The Frankincense Intense Eye Cream is a very new product to join the eye care range and has a formula is suitable for all skin types, working to deliver visible results in just 15 days. A natural age-defying eye cream, it's fairly light in consistency, more gel like in texture, which works to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness all whilst helping to hydrate and brighten. It also helps to leave skin firmer and boost elasticity, which is great for those who need a little TLC under the eyes after one too many long days and late nights.
I apply a pea sized amount to each eye contour every morning, using my ring finger to lightly dab the product into my skin. After the first couple of uses I wasn't overly wowed; it did the job as an eye cream but it wasn't blowing my mind as an amazing eye cream. Continued use however has definitely shown me some impressive results. Although it took longer than the 15 days, which I think is purely down to the fact I have used it in the morning only opposed to morning and night, I have seen benefits from the impressive list of promises that come with this eye cream. The delicate skin under my eyes is firmer, dark circles are non-existent even with the little sleep I have nowadays, and the skin itself feels healthier to the touch. I'm yet to get wrinkles and fine lines, but I do fine it has helped overall in brightening my under eye area and it also works well on those few occasions I now get to pop some makeup on.
It's more on the pricey side compared to other eye creams I've tried and for that reason alone I'm not sure I'd repurchase it, but I am finding it lasts a really long time using it as a morning eye cream and overall, I like the results it gives. If it's within your budget and you want to see the results promised, then it's definitely worth giving a try.
