Christmas with Bobbi Brown

Oh Bobbi Brown, you always know the way to this girl's heart.

When it comes to luxury few brands get it as right as Bobbi Brown. Products which team beautiful product formulas with incredible shade ranges and gorgeous finishes that together work to create stunning ranges which are easy to work with and let you enhance your look, adding just the right amount of oomph to the areas that you want to stand out whilst keeping your overall look natural, chic and oh so very glamorous. The Christmas releases are the perfect example of Bobbi Brown's ethos when it comes to makeup and beauty, without the need for fancy packaging or Christmas themed shade selections, just classic Bobbi Brown with that simplistic yet bold packaging and a lovely mix of new and old to satisfy any beauty adorer this festive season.

Bobbi Brown Greystone Eye Palette, £38
I'm personally a big fan of Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, both individual and in palette format, but the limited edition palettes always seem to get hit and miss reviews. In 2015 I have seen a marked difference in the quality of palettes coming from Bobbi Brown, and I think Bobbi has really taken on board a few comments made by fans of the brand over the quality of shadows within the limited edition palettes, where some of the lighter shades could sometimes be a little harder to get the colour pay-off you'd really like. Every palette I've tried throughout this year has been drastically better in quality, with all shades being absolutely delicious in formula, pigmentation and finish. The Greystone Eye Palette is no different.

Presented in classic black Bobbi Brown packaging with a beautifully embossed logo, the Greystone palette features 5 cream, rich grey and brown shades which have been perfectly teamed together for creating day-time appropriate looks to night-time eyes with ease. The finishes in the palette vary from buttery soft mattes to shimmer and sparkle finishes, with 2 of the shades being permanent to the Bobbi Brown range, whilst 3 are new to this palette. The palette itself is slim, light-weight, great for travelling with a large mirror and even comes with a handy dual-ended brush that covers shadow and liner in one. A lovely palette, it's make the perfect gift for any eyeshadow fans this Christmas.

Bobbi Brown Sequin Eye Shadow, £25
There's few products that make me go 'wow!' just by looking at them, but the Sequin shadows definitely tick that box. The presentation and overall look of the product itself is just absolutely stunning in design. Infused with flecks of metallic shimmer, each shadow is super pigmented and has been created with star-filled skies in mind for a dramatic, high-shimmer shadow. Individually presented in it's own compact with a handy little mirror and that same beautiful embossed Bobbi Brown logo, they're super chic and very bold. The pearl-infused formula's have been baked to provide a lightweight velvety texture, creating a multidimensional effect. These are really something special, easy to wear alone or teamed with other shadows when used as a stand-out pop of colour in the centre of the lid.

Bobbi Brown Face Highlighter, £26
I've always found liquid highlighters the hardest to work with, but I've been very pleasantly surprised by the Face Highlighter range which has a very easy to work with formula and texture that allows you to apply a subtle highlight without it washing away the rest of your makeup if applied above, but also settling nicely if used underneath your base for a light, radiant glow. With a pearl-infused formula, there's 3 shades available, each presented in slim, slick glass bottles with a handy pump that distributes the perfect amount of product. I find one pump is more than enough for highlighting both brow bones, creating a subtle and healthy glow. Best to apply these with your fingers!

Bobbi Brown Art Stick Trio, £42
I absolutely adore the Art Stick range from Bobbi Brown, in fact it's my favourite of the 'chubby' pencil lipsticks available on the beauty scene, having a really fantastic formula which is firm enough to glide on for a precise application, but creamy enough to be effortless to work with and comfortable on the lip. With a matte finish and a lovely variety of shades available, they are quite possibly one of my favourite lip product ranges ever. The Art Stick Trio range has been put together for the Christmas Collection with 3 perfect shades that are set to steal the heart of any lipstick adorer this Christmas. There's 2 permanent shades; Harlow Red and Electric Pink, alongside a new limited edition shade created especially for the Christmas Collection, Brown Berry, the very first nude Art Stick shade to be created by Bobbi Brown.

Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color, £25
Not technically part of the Christmas Collection, but actually a new release in itself, is the beautifully presented Luxe Lip Color range. Incredibly beautiful lipsticks presented in chic gold bullets, the boldest and most vibrant lip colours Bobbi Brown have to offer. Available in 30 vibrant shades - 6 of which are exclusively available online and in-store at Selfridges -, there's a perfect Luxe Lip Color to suit everyone. Each has been created to provide maximum colour coverage whilst rejuvenating lips, boosting moisture with a sumptuous, creamy and comfortable formula.

All products available online at www.bobbibrown.co.uk and Bobbi Brown counters nationwide.
