Ever since Charlotte Tilbury first released her exquisite beauty range back in September 2013, it's been the brand every beauty adorer wants to get their hands on. World renowned for her makeup artistry, the move to her own beauty range was one which has been welcomed and celebrated ever since. Every visit to Selfridges is that little bit more special when you visit the Charlotte Tilbury stand, alongside a stunning and effortlessly interactive website that makes online orders a breeze. The recent move to making her products available in John Lewis, both online and in-store, this stunning range is set to adorn more and more dressing tables across the UK.
Of course I couldn't resist the lure of Charlotte Tilbury myself and after many visits to Selfridges where I swatched away all the products which caught my eye, I eventually decided on a beautiful and stand-out Luxury Palette, one which I hadn't seen many reviews of or even much love at all, but once which ever since has been my all-time favourite eyeshadow quad, because quite honestly, nothing compares. I am of course talking about the stunning The Vintage Vamp Luxury Palette (£38), which is the most beautiful quad in my makeup collection and just absolutely perfect for this time of year with its autumnal hues. You can read my full - and very much rave - review here.
One thing that does stand out when it comes to Charlotte Tilbury, is the way the range is presented. Not only is every aspect of beauty covered with beautiful shade ranges and dreamy formulas, but Charlotte Tilbury is also one of the only brands I know of whose range features so many incredible sets and gift boxes. One of those gift boxes, is the Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess Look Gift Box (£165) which features all of the products you need to recreate classic The Golden Goddess look. The gift box includes a eyeshadow, eye liner, mascara, blusher, lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss, all presented in a fabulous make-up bag adorned with lip prints of some of the most iconic women in fashion.
The Golden Goddess Luxury Palette (£38)
After falling so absolutely in love with The Vintage Vamp, I was more than excited to try out The Golden Goddess Luxury Palette, which is probably the Charlotte Tilbury palette I see talked about the most. The Luxury Palettes are brilliantly colour-coded to help make looks from day to night effortless even for everyone from makeup beginners to beauty experts. Created with four harmonious shades which work together with ease, The Golden Goddess is, for me, the most wearable of the palettes on offer, with shades that would be incredibly flattering for a huge variety of complexions and eye colours.
The 'Prime' shade is a stunning pale beige with soft golden undertones, lovely as an all over shade to neutralise skin-tone as well as working as a fantastic base shade, hence being the perfect Prime shade. Next up we have the 'Enhance' shade, a very wearable grey-toned taupe which is lovely for a wash of colour over the lids, very flattering when teamed with the Prime shade and great as a starting point for a bolder eye when going from day to night. The 'Smoke' shade in the palette is one perfect for blending through the crease, a lovely bronze copper that is just absolutely lovely. To finish off a look, the 'Pop' shade is a light bronze with silver micro-glitter that is dreamy when used in the centre of the lid.
Just like The Vintage Vamp, The Golden Goddess is an absolutely heavenly palette to work with. The formula of each shadow is dreamy with buttery soft powders that are incredibly easy to work with, making application and blending effortless. The colour pay-off is wonderful and each lasts so well, even without the use of an eyeshadow primer. For a quad it's definitely out up there as one of the more pricey options on the beauty scene, but the quality is unbeatable and worth every penny. If you are new to Charlotte Tilbury and wanted to treat yourself to just one product from the range, a Luxury Palette is the product I would go for.
Sophia The Classic Eyeliner Powder Pencil (£16)
Perfectly named, if I do say so myself, I have been so impressed with Sophia, a stunning eyeliner enriched with a mix of fine opaque powders and specially blended oils and soothing allantoin. A deliciously soft pencil that applies easily for a blendable liner, but also has fantastic staying power if you want to keep things bold. Sophia is a stunning shade, perfect for teaming with The Golden Goddess, a deep chocolate bronze with an extremely fine copper glitter.
Glossy Black Full Fat Lashes Mascara (£22)
It's been a long time since I've tried a high-end mascara, and Full Fat Lashes has gotten me a little bit addicted. Described as 'The One' when it comes to mascaras, it works to curl with a 5-grooved brush, separate with it's fine-tipped bristles, add volume with it's glossy black formula, lengthen with maximum bristle count on an easy to use brush, giving lashes a dramatic look with a 5-Star brush that creates a 3-dimensional flutter. It's the perfect true black, the formula is great for applying one coat for a day-time appropriate lash-separating flutter, or layering for a more intense night-eye look.
Pillowtalk Lip Cheat Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner (£16)
I have seen this particular shade talked about so much, it's been on my wishlist for quite a while due to the amount of rave reviews it gets. A paraben-free, waterproof lip liner, it has a firm yet creamy texture that packs a punch pigmentation wise, with Pillowtalk being a beautiful nude pink. Not only does it make the perfect liner as a starting point for a nude lip, but it's also wearable alone, with a truly opaque formula. Massively impressed with this lip liner and it's made me want to try more shades from the Lip Cheat range.
Stoned Rose K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From The Lipstick Tree Lipstick (£23)
Over the past year there are few brands I have heard talked about as much as Charlotte Tilbury when it comes to lipsticks. It seems like they've taken the beauty world by storm and now I've tried one for myself? I totally get the hype. It's difficult to pin-point exactly what it is that makes this lipstick stand out so much from every other brand, formula and finish in my beauty stash, but honestly? It wears like no other lipstick I've ever tried before. It's absolutely stunning, with a dreamy formula that glides on with ease to provide opaque colour pay-off and a beautifully flattering finish. Stoned Rose is the most perfect warm nude with rosy undertones that makes the perfect partner to Pillowtalk, and the longevity? This baby lasts several hours, even through eating and drinking. Oh, and let's not forget the dreamy packaging, because wow.
Ibiza Nights Lip Lustre Luxe Colour-Lasting Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss (£16.50)
Gloss is one of those products that you either love or hate, but for me personally? I love completing the perfect lip with a swipe of gloss that can completely transform a look in seconds. The formula for this Lip Lustre is spot on; non-greasy, no sticky residue, light-weight and comfortable on the lip. It has an almost creamy formula, yet Ibiza Nights offers the perfect sheer nude with ultra fine iridescent shimmer. If that wasn't enough, it's enriched with Lotus Flower Extract, an antioxidant ingredient that works to protect, hydrate and sooth lips. The perfect finishing touch for a Golden Goddess look.
Ecstasy Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher (£30)
From the sleek packaging to the way the product is beautifully presented, I've had my eye on the Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blushers for a long, long time. Using Light Flex Technology, which works to capture light before re-emitting it for a luminous finish, it has colour-rich pigments combined with finely crushed pearls which give the formula an intense softness, making it exceptionally easy to apply and blend. There's two shades, the centre being a pink-coral with incredibly fine golden shimmer, with the outer shade being a lovely coral-orange with warm undertones and a subtle frosted finish. You could easily wear each shade alone, as both are extremely pretty, but I prefer using them as one shade, lightly swirling my blusher brush and achieving the perfect pop of colour. Together the two shades make a very lovely coral shade that's very flattering, and has been a favourite of mine over the past couple of weeks with an autumn eye and nude lip.
I've wanted to try more from the Charlotte Tilbury range for a long, long time. I can honestly say that now I have had the opportunity to try more from the range, all products which are raved about profusely in the beauty blogging world, I can see exactly why Charlotte Tilbury is such a well-loved brand. The products are of exceptional quality with heavenly formulas, beautiful shades with outstanding colour pay-off and the packaging for each is just the most perfect finishing touch. A brand that deserves a spot on everyone's beauty wishlist.
