Givenchy, a brand whose products mix luxury with chic, sophisticated style, there's few brands who leave me swooning as much as Givenchy.

A new release for Spring 2015, Givenchy have created a stunning collection of chic palettes featuring 4 intense and radiant eyeshadows, a quartet of intense colour, breathtakingly beautiful design and incredible formulas. Including satin, matte, shimmer and glitter finishes, the collection emcompasses 9 new palettes with beautiful colour themes ranging, from neutral shades with a twist all the way through to bold and daring brights, to deep smouldering shades. Each palette includes a base shade, a highlight shade, and two pressed contour shades. Together, they allow you to create a beautiful array of looks, with shades and finishes which make flawless, dazzling eyes a breeze.

I have been trying out Braise, a quatuor which caught my eye entirely down to the shade selection. Beautiful, intense stand-out shades that would work any time of year with ease, it's simply beautiful. Presented in a sleek light-weight palette with the Givenchy logo embossed in silver on top of the palette, with stunning detailing of the Givenchy name above a silver Givenchy clasp where the palette opens. The palette includes a mirror and 2 Givenchy eyeshadow applicators, with each shade in the palette being beautifully designed with a slightly raised square effect.

The lightest shade in Braise, the highlight shade, is a gorgeous yellow toned gold that has a subtle sheen and although intense in pigmentation, has a more sheer effect when applied, lovely for the inner corner with a slight shimmer finish. The base shade is a breathtakingly beautiful orange toned copper, incredibly pigmented and the shade with the most impact when applied, this one has a subtle glitter finish. The two contour shades in the palette are equally beautiful; a deep aubergine with a satin finish, alongside matte black.

To apply and blend, they are absolutely dreamy. Each shadow has a soft powder formula, with no fallout whatsoever, that makes an instant impact on the lid. Longevity wise I've found each shade stays well throughout the day without smudging or creasing, even with my naturally oily lids. Braise is a heavenly palette, just absolutely heavenly.

  1. This is such a stunning palette and the packaging is to die for. I love the mix of shades here, they almost don't go together which makes them seem even more versatile.

    1. I completely agree. They work beautifully together, but to look at them they're probably not shades you'd think would go together! xo
