A bronzed glow with Dior

When it comes to premium beauty brands there's always a few that stand out from the crowd for me, brands that are luxurious, chic, high-quality, with packaging that is as beautiful as their products. For me, one of those brands is Dior.

There's no denying Dior products are luxurious, and the DiorSkin Nude Tan Matte Sun Powder, £31.50, is one of the most beautifully designed and presented products I have ever tried. Presented in a deep navy blue velvet pouch to keep your stunning compact safe and scratch free, the compact itself is just utterly breathtaking.

A round silver compact with embossing on the top, it's a simple yet chic design that stands out from more over the top product designs in my beauty stash. From looking at the compact you'd think it would be quite weighty, housing 10g of product inside plus a compact mirror, but it's actually very light-weight meaning this would be perfect for on-the-go and travelling just as much applying at your dressing table.

It comes with an adorable little Dior Kabuki Brush, silver in design like the compact with the world renowned Christian Dior 'CD' logo embossed on the bottom. If presentation alone could make this a winning product, then it's certainly on it's way to being the best of the best. But does gorgeous packaging mean the product inside is worth the price tag?

Like the packaging, the product itself is beautifully presented. Embossed with 'NUDE', each letter has tiny delicate designs much like the packaging. It's beautiful to look at, and let's be honest, we all swoon at beautifully designed products! I've been trying out shade 002, which for me is just right for a healthy glow, but I suspect would be a touch on the dark side for paler beauties. A lovely warm bronze, it warms my complexion really well whilst still looking natural and not overdone.

Formulated to provide a natural looking glow, enhancing your own complexion with a tan matte powder that is velvety soft to the touch, the DiorSkin Nude Tan Matte Sun Powder is an effortlessly easy way to give your skin that natural healthy looking glow. For those of you who crave that a natural looking healthy glow, it's perfect. As a completely matte powder, it is the easiest way to warm the entire complexion or add a touch of warmth to the spots sun would naturally catch you, without looking too much; shimmery bronzes can often be far too obvious, whereas this one really does leave a super natural finish.

A premium product with a premium price tag, it's not going to be within everyone's budget. But if you can afford the splurge, or simply want to invest in that one perfect bronzer, then the DiorSkin Nude Tan Matte Sun Powder is definitely one to add to your wishlist.

  2. I'm in love with this bronzer! And I'm actually surprised that it's £31.50! When I first saw it, I would have thought that it would be around £40.
Also, the fact that it comes with a mini kabuki is great too! I've been using it to touch up my powder on the go lately, it's so handy :D x

    1. It's definitely more reasonably priced than you'd expect for Dior, particularly with the added bonus of a kabuki AND a lovely pouch to keep it in xo

  3. I have this bronzer. It is stunning and I have barely used it! Must dig it out. My only complaint is the packaging is so heavy, so not so travel friendly.

    1. I hope you've been using it more!! :) Odd that you find it heavy, mine feels super light-weight especially to other products in my stash. Maybe they've changed the packaging since you picked up yours? xo
