Thierry Mugler Angel Eau de Parfum is a classic scent that has been extremely popular with fragrance lovers all over the world since it's release in 1992. Having recently tried it for myself, I can see exactly why this scent is so well-loved, it's beautiful.
A beautiful and distinct scent, Angel has been my go-to fragrance over the past couple of weeks, a fragrance I have been complimented on every time I have worn it. A scent which is perfect for the warmer months of spring and summer, it is described as a voluptuous oriental gourmand fragrance which invokes memories of favourite childhood treats.
A lot of beautiful scents have been worked into this classic scent, a scent which lingers beautifully throughout the day with each note pulling through to create a distinctly feminine and captivating scent. The top notes are Melon, Coconut, Mandarin Orange, Cassia, Jasmine, Bergamot and Candy Floss (or Cotton Candy, for my lovely American readers), with heart notes of Honey, Apricot, Blackberry, Plum, Orchid, Peach, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Red Berries and Rose. The base notes, and the notes which are most distinct after several hours of wear, are Tonka Bean, Amber, Patchouli, Musk, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate and Caramel. That's a lot of notes for one fragrance, but the combination is beautiful and exquisite. It's sweet, fruity, floral and musky all at the same time, yet light and refreshing without being overpowering. I am completely smitten!
For Angel fans both old and new, there is a beautiful new refillable bottle which has been created by the Mugler Fashion House, quite possibly the most beautiful perfume bottle I've ever come across. A 3-dimensional star, it has countless facets which capture the light in different ways to create a sophisicated shape and bottle which is unique and simply stunning. It's quite simply mesmerising.
Are you a fan of Angel? You can pick up the new refillable New Star bottle, which comes in a 75ml size, in-store and online at Boots, Debenhams and The Perfume Shop. RRP £86.
