I have a lot to update you all on this week, so today's The Sunday Post is going to be a little different to usual.
As I mentioned in last week's The Sunday Post (see here), I've been doing a lot of 'behind the scenes' work on Tattooed Tealady recently. A lot of this is still taking place, but some of it is now ready for you all to get stuck into. So what's changed?
A long time ago I put together a Directory page, where you could easily access all of my product reviews in one handy place. As the years have gone on this page got very, very long, began to look a little messy and on part of my laziness, was updated less regularly. I've given my Directory a complete re-vamp, linking to separate directories for different things I feature here on Tattooed Tealady. When you go to my Directory now you can chose whether to go to my makeup, body care, skincare, hair care or book directory - all of which have their own dedicated page. Each has my reviews for that section listed alphabetically by brand/author, making it easier for you to find the review you're looking for as quickly as possible. This is semi-complete; my hair care and book directories are complete, but I'm still updating my skincare, body care and makeup directories to include all the reviews I have featured over the past 3 years. These will hopefully be completed very soon, but you can still check those out for the reviews currently listed now!
Check out my Directory here.
I've also updated my Blog Roll. This is a page specifically dedicated to showcasing my favourite blogs, including beauty, fashion and lifestyle. There's 40 blogs listed in there at the moment, and I'll be adding more blogs as and when! Do you read any of the blogs featured in my Blog Roll?
Check out my Blog Roll here.
I've also been updating other pages here on Tattooed Tealady, including my PR, Contact, About (still under construction - why are About Me pages so difficult to write?!) and Disclaimer pages.
My sidebar is something I constantly play around with, but over the past few weeks I have been making small changes to try and make it less cluttered, more engaging and easier to navigate. In my sidebar you can follow me on Bloglovin', Google Friend Connect (GFC) and Google+, as well as checking out my post archive, current popular posts and specific tag pages; clicking on the makeup, skincare, body care, hair care, life, books or Psych Bites images which take you directly to those posts! A new feature added to my sidebar is my 'I Support' section, linking to 3 websites including brands and organisations, that I support; The Vegan Kind, Andy Millward Facialist & Skin Care Expert and Time to Change. You can also see a snapsnot of my Instagram feed and latest posts on there, too!
Back to the usual routine of The Sunday Post, I wanted to give you all a little update on the past week! It's been a week of early starts, productive days and late nights. Now that the sun is shining almost every single day (anyone else insanely happy by this?), I'm finding myself feeling much more upbeat and motivated to get things done. Reading has taken a little bit of a back-seat because of this though, as I'm finding myself so tired by the time I finally climb into bed that I can't keep my eyes open long enough to read! I'm currently reading Damsel in Distress by Carola Dunn, the 5th book in the Daisy Dalrymple murder mystery series, and enjoying being transported back to the 1920's and trying to work out 'whodunit!'.
Lily Rose & Co
Something else I wanted to update you on was Lily Rose & Co. Formerly Gifts & Pieces, they've rebranded to Lily Rose & Co alongside a snazzy new and very beautiful website. My absolute favourite website for buying home stuffs, they have a huge range of homewares, craft materials, party essentials, stationary, scents and bath products. To celebrate the rebrand they're also offering 20% off of all orders up until midnight tonight (26/04/15) with the discount code LilyRoseCo at checkout, so make sure you head over to www.lilyroseco.com and check out the new website and everything they have to offer!
How has the past week treated you? Are you ready for May? I can't believe April is almost over, this year is flying by!
