Models Own Icing Collection

A picture of Models Own Icing Collection
With spring just around the corner, Models Own have released another new collection, with shades just utterly perfect for spring looks.

A new launch this week, the Models Own Icing Collection* features five pretty pastel shades presented in lightly frosted bottles with the corresponding colour topping each lid. With the same glossy finish akin to the standard line of Models Own polishes, they apply effortlessly for a streak-free finish and manage to last a good week or so chip-free with a good base and top coat.

Nude Icing is a pale brown nude, a lovely everyday wearable shade and perfect for those of you who love a subtle nail and like to avoid the more eye-catching shades. Pink Icing is a very pretty baby pink, another nice everyday shade for a subtle yet chic manicure. Peach Icing is where the shades start to get some oomph, a lovely peach that's the perfect shade for easing yourself into spring colours after a winter of deep, bold and warmer shades we all love in the colder months. Lilac Icing is one of my favourites, a pastel lilac with a touch of violet, that makes a lovely pop of colour. Last but not least, Mint Icing, a shade I think will look amazing with a tan come summer, it's a lovely pastel mint teal that I have become obsessed with for toes!

The Models Own Icing Collection is available at www.superdrug.com for £4.99 each.

  9. I love these shades, though in my opinion they look a bit too neon for pastel icing type colours? I love the purple in particular though xx

    1. They are a bit more bright and bold than your usual pastel shades, but I wouldn't say they were neon personally! xo

  12. I really don't know wether to love for hate the Models Own collections, I have one varnish from last summer that just doesn't seem to hold up very well after a few days wear but then again the colours they bring out always looking extremely tempting on the shop shelf!
