With Valentine’s Day just a month away, it’s time to start thinking about what to gift our special significant others. Last year Valentine’s Day was a big day for my partner and I – we moved into our first house together, and we've spent the first year making a house a home. Because moving day fell on Valentine’s Day, it meant we had to cancel our dinner reservations, so I'm really excited that this year we’ll be able to celebrate properly.
Roses are the most classic Valentine’s Day gift you could give or receive, and I was recently treated to a stunning 40 rose bouquet* from Appleyard London in the run up to the big V day, that I couldn't resist sharing with you all. Easily the most stunning bouquet I have ever received, I was in awe when they arrived. Delivered in a very safe and sturdy, but also very big box, as soon as I opened the box up I was greeted with a beautiful sight of 40 Kenyan roses. Featuring red, pink and yellow peach-tipped roses, they had been made their way to me in one piece with each rose perfectly picked, ready to bloom.
The quality of the bouquet easily exceeded my expectations; even before the roses started to bloom, they had a beautiful scent which became stronger as each day passed. I adore the scent of roses, so it was a joy having such a beautiful smelling bouquet take pride of place on my dressing table – each time I looked at them, I couldn't help but smile!
They lasted really well, with Appleyard London having a ‘7-day freshness guarantee’. My bouquet lasted a total of 9 days, with the roses starting to bloom after just a couple of days.
If you’re looking to treat someone special this Valentine’s Day, or maybe even treat yourself, then I really recommend checking out the full Valentine’s flowers range – there’s a whole host of beautiful bouquets featuring different flowers and colours, all beautifully presented. You can even use my cheeky discount code, BLOG40, to receive 40% off of your chosen bouquet (which has tempted me to order another bouquet for myself, as it’s a huge discount!). You can use the discount code on the entire luxury bouquet range (excluding the ‘flowers by post’ range).
Whether it’s a significant other, a friend who deserves to know how special they are or a treat for yourself, such a beautiful array of flowers is hard to resist!
