We all know what it's like, you hear more and more people talking about a product and you just can't help but want to try it for yourself, to see what the fuss is all about. That's definitely how I felt about the frank Coffee Scrub, and for only £11.95, I decided it was time to give it a go.
Made in Australia using the best natural ingredients, all frank products are cruelty free with no nasty chemicals, fillers or Parabens. Ordering was super quick as the website is very user friendly and I had chosen my scrub and ordered all in less than 5 minutes. There's free UK shipping and it didn't take long to arrive at all, just a few days.
I decided on the original coffee scrub as I noticed all of them seem to feature lovely moisturising oils, and I wanted to try the original first to see whether it left a residue, before trying more moisturising scrubs in the range. The scent is unbelievably delicious, an awakening Coffee with Sweet Almond Oil and Orange Essence, it's completely addictive. The ingredients are very skin-loving, packed full of vitamins and minerals, coffee, brown sugar and sea salt.
It's formulated to target dry skin, stretch marks, cellulite, eczema, psoriasis, varicose veins, acne and scarring, and each waterproof seal-able bag (keeps it nice and dry when not in use) has a generous 200g of scrub. Using it on damp skin is best, and definitely whilst your in the shower as it can get a little messy! Massaging onto my skin with circular motions, the first thing you notice is a slight orange tint to the scrub as it gets wet, with the coffee itself feeling exactly as you'd imagine. What I love about this scrub is how instantaneously my skin feels insanely smooth. I've tried my fair share of amazing body scrubs in my time, but this? My skin feels smooth, supple and soft to the touch, a feeling that lasts for days. It's like a miracle scrub, targeting impurities and dry skin effortlessly. I think I'm obsessed.
It's recommend you use frank scrubs 2-4 times a week, although I've been using mine 2 times a week and have found the benefits last well in-between uses with no worries. Tonight I'm going to experiment and try it as a facial scrub, which the team over at frank say is fine to do so long as you follow up with a good cleanser to remove any excess oil (and do a patch test if you have sensitive skin!). All the rave reviews and hype around this product are spot on - and I know it won't be long until I'm buying all the other scrubs in the range, too.
