Gosh I love a good eyeshadow palette! Palettes give you the chance to really experiment, to push boundaries, try new looks, all whilst experimenting with a variety of beautiful and unique shades. The Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette* (£35) is my current obsession, and boy am I smitten!
With nine shades, the palette is incredibly versatile covering beautiful neutrals, daring brights and smouldering smokey shades for any occasion. Housed within a durable metal compact case with a gorgeous leopard print design, the palette includes a How-To Glamour Guide with three 3-step looks in 3 minutes, alongside a handy compact mirror. Each look is easy to follow and covers day-to-night looks, my favourite so far has been 'Day' look, which uses three shades in three very simple steps to create a gorgeous everyday wearable look.
The shades themselves are split into three separate rows; the first row is the 'Day' row, featuring Purr, Tiger's Eye and Leopard, the second row is 'Classic', featuring Meow, Pussy Cat and Jungle Love, whilst the final row is 'Fashion', featuring Kitten, Kitty Glitter and Panther. For eyeshadow beginners, this makes combining shades for different looks super easy, as the shades within each row work in perfect harmony to create a whole host of looks.
Purr is a off-white pearl with irredentist shimmer finish.
Tiger's Eye is a deep, warm and bright copper with a fine shimmer finish
Leopard is a deep chocolate brown with fine golden glitter finish.
Meow is a cool toned beige with a matte finish.
Pussy Cat is a warm toned lavender with a fine shimmer finish.
Jungle Love is a deep aubergine with fine pink and violet glitter finish.
Kitten is a soft, baby pink with a matte finish.
Kitty Glitter a pale silver with duck-egg blue undertones with a glitter finish.
Panther is an almost pure-black with dark chocolate undertones and a matte finish.
Each of the shades has incredible colour pay-off with pigment filled formulas that are a joy to work with; buttery soft powders that blend effortlessly. My favourites are definitely Meow, Tiger's Eye and Jungle Love. Leopard, Jungle Love and Panther also double up as shades which can be used wet, and each make perfect liners for the upper and lower lash lines - perfect autumnal shades! Too Faced eyeshadows are some of my absolute favourite to work with, and the Cat Eyes palette has definitely surpassed my expectations!
