The Body Shop are starting to become one of my favourite high-street brands for makeup. We all know and love The Body Shop for their body care ranges including the famous body butters, but their makeup offerings are just as good. I'm a big fan of the Honey Bronzer, which is actually my favourite high-street bronzer, and I have recently become a big fan of their brushes, too, having loved every brush in The Expert Brush Collection. Now it's the turn of the Spring Bronze Shimmer Cube (£16)* to steal my beauty adorers heart.

With four shades, the Spring Bronze Shimmer Cube has been one of my most reached for products this summer and I've loved creating a variety of looks, from day to night, with each beautiful shade. The four shades together are housed in a petite, square plastic casing, but each shade is also individually housed within plastic casing that I actually find a wonderful idea - it means if you're travelling or on-the-go, you can grab the shades you want to use with no worries of the shadows getting dirty, attracting bacteria or falling apart. The shadows all have the same finish, a lovely iridescent shimmer that catches the light beautifully and works well to make your eye look stand out, without looking like a shimmer overload.

The lightest shade of the four is a really lovely dusty fawn which works wonderfully as an inner-corner highlight, a brow-bone highlight or a wash of colour over your lids. Next up we have burnished gold, an incredibly flattering shade with warming undertones and almost the slightest hint of rose gold running through. This is one of those perfect golds for any shadow fans who have been looking for a gold shadow to add to their collection, but are after something more subtle and less intense than a lot of gold shadow options out there. My favourite of the four shades, next up we have a stunning warm copper, that just like the gold, is super flattering and works amazingly well for a pop of colour in the centre of your lids. Last but not least, the key shade which transforms looks from day to night, we have a stunning rich espresso with flashes of aubergine that makes this shade one of my favourite crease shades, ever.

Each of the shades is very easy to work with. The formulas aren't the softest in the world, but are very easy to pick up on brushes with no fallout whatsoever. They blend super easily, actually better than a lot of brands in my makeup stash, and the longevity is fantastic; there's no smudging, budging or fading throughout the day, once you've created your look your set all day until it's time to whip the skincare out! I'm so impressed with the Spring Bronze Shimmer Cube, that I've added a few other shade varieties to my wishlist; I'm loving the look of Warm and Purple Shimmer Cubes!

Have you tried any eyeshadows from The Body Shop before? Perhaps you have a favourite shade you think I should add to my stash? Let me know!

    1. If you consider how long the quad will last, I think they're worth the investment! It works out at a few quid per shadow, which we often pay more for in Boots etc! xo
