It's felt like summer is really here recently, with most of June being a real beauty! Sunshine, hot summer days; everyone has seemed happier with more smiles all around. Summer seems to make me fall back to old favourites which have got me through summer after summer. I have been using so many forgotten about hidden gems in my makeup stash and falling in love with old favourites all over again. A new product has also sneaked it's way into my stand-outs, a product which has quickly taken top status as a fave.

Where nails are concerned, one polish does the job every summer. Illamasqua Poke Nail Varnish is an incredibly vibrant, eye-catching bright violet-purple polish with shimmer finish that almost looks metallic. With a glossy top coat on top, the colour is incredible and one of my faves! Illamasqua polishes are easily my favourite, the longevity far out-does any other brand in my stash - let me know if you'd like to see an Illamasqua Nail Varnish collection post!

I've not been looking after myself properly through June, lacking in the healthy eating department and not keeping on top of my water intake as much as I should be! I'll have a few good days, then a few bad days, and the constant change and lack of routine has given me a couple of unwelcome residents on my face! As soon as I noticed them setting up camp, my Origins Super Spot Remover was out and applied onto cleansed skin for two nights in a row. By the third morning, barely a trace of those unwanted blemishes was left. Miracle product.

My lips have been soft as silk this month, as I rekindled my love for the deliciously scented Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 01, a lovely pretty pink. The scent makes it an addictive product you can't put down, which isn't so bad as it makes sure I remember to apply regularly! Continued use throughout June has left my lips feeling softer, plumper and hydrated. Can't get enough of this lip-loving beauty!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent is unbeatable when it comes to summer scents. Like hundreds of other bloggers say - it's like holiday in a bottle. It's incredible and one of my all-time favourite scents. It's irresistible, with Bergamot, Amber, Tiare Flower, Vanilla, alongside delicious, creamy coconut.

Another coconut-scented favourite has been the hugely popular and my long-time favourite, The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter. It's one of those scents I can never resist, always having at least one Coconut body butter in my stash. Instantly cooling when applied, luxuriously creamy and gorgeous to massage in, leaving my skin feeling softer and hydrated with a delicious scent of coconut. Perfect for summer legs!

The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette has been my go-to through June for everyday looks, falling back in love with old favourite shades like Bootycall, Chopper, YDK and Busted. I have all the Urban Decay Naked palettes, but of Naked 2 has always been my favourite of the three bigger palettes. I adore the shade range, with the high-quality, great pigmentation and gorgeous formulas Urban Decay are famous for.

To line my eyes I've been turning to my ever faithful Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink, the easiest way to apply precise, true jet-black, long-lasting gel liner that doesn't budge, smudge or fade. I love creating everything from cat flicks to big winged liner with this beauty.

The Wild About Beauty Botanical Skin Prep is a product I've had in my stash for so long now, yet never given it the full attention it deserved. After dug it out of my beauty stash this month, I've used it almost every single day and found it perfect for making my skin look and feel amazing. Skin feels instantly softer and smoother in texture, makeup application is an ease and my finish look stays looking flawless for longer.

A new beauty find in my stash which has earned it's place in my stand-outs for June is the gorgeous Sanctuary Spa 7 Day Moisture Miracle Oil Balm*, which is an incredible multi-purpose product which can be used on hands and cuticles, toes and feet, elbows and knees - all those awkward dry spots, even your hair as a pre-washing treatment. A luxurious balm which turns into an oil on contact with our warm skin, it's quick and easy to massage in with no greasy residue, and works to soften and soothe dry skin with a delicious and comforting scent.

Last but not least, my favourite finishing product of the month, theBalm Sexy Mama Anti-Shine Translucent Powder. I just love how effortlessly it helps complete a look, setting my makeup and keeping my oily-skin at bay for most of the day, only needing to touch up come afternoon if I'm out all day. It's perfect for my t-zone, setting under-eye concealers and works as a fantastic setting powder.

  1. I haven't used my Naked 2 palette in ages. Definitely need to dig it out again soon though as it does have some beautiful shades in it.

  3. Great post :) I would love to see an Illamasqua nail polish collection post! I haven't heard many people rave about the Naked 2 palette now you mention it - people seem to love the first Naked palette and talk a lot about the third but I've never seen much about the 2nd, so its interesting that that is your favourite - I deffos trust your make-up taste haha!
