MAC Alluring Aquatic Enchanted One

MAC Alluring Aquatic Enchanted One
It's been a long time since I treated myself to a Limited Edition MAC Lipstick, but when I saw the packaging for the Alluring Aquatic Collection, it was just too hard to resist! I've been on a real nude-lip loving spree over the past few months, so I skipped the deeper, brighter shades and had my heart set on Enchanted One (MAC, £16.50) Finding it online wasn't going to be easy - anywhere I managed to find it, it had sold out by the time I got to checkout, so hunting it down in person was going to be the only way to get my hands on this nude beauty. I was probably a little bit too excited when I found it in stock in the St Pancras MAC store.

The Alluring Aquatic Collection is beautifully presented in quite possibly, my favourite MAC packaging yet. The lipstick bullet is a metallic turquoise, textured to look as if there are tiny drops of water encasing the it. Enchanted One is a warm nude with coral undertones and a lovely matte finish. It applies effortlessly, with a true opaque colour and lovely finish which isn't drying when on. Longevity wise Enchanted One lives up to the high-end price tag and quality you'd expect of MAC, only needing to reapply after eating and drinking. Lovely alone or spruced up with a touch of gloss, Enchanted One has been my most reached for everyday shade since I bought it. Smitten.

Did you pick anything up from the Alluring Aquatic Collection?

  1. This is so pretty! I came across this collection in duty free the other week when I went on holiday but didn't buy anything and I'm absolutely kicking myself about it now!! Great choice you made, think I'd have gone for this shade too x

  5. I think my favorite thing I picked up was the eyeshadow in Sea Worship! It was worth it solely for the gorgeous packaging, let alone the pretty green-gold color.

  6. Literally the first thing I thought when I saw the picture was like 'woah it looks like water'. It's certainly a very convincing effect! Lucky you were able to get it at St Pancras of all places :)

  11. I adore this collection, even for the packaging alone :) I picked up the lipstick in Goddess of the Sea the other day - that's the mauve/plum one - so pretty! Only my 3rd MAC lipstick ever!
