Eyeshadow palettes are the perfect way to experiment more with makeup and changing up my look every day is something I really love doing. Whereas some girls have a signature look, the only signature thing I seem to do with my makeup is always have big, smokey eyes. Whether it's a natural smokey eye with some beautiful neutrals, a perfect Autumn smokey eye with reds, cranberries and deep, woody browns, or the traditional dark and smouldering graphites and coals, I just love making my eyes stand out! Neve is no stranger to the blog, with the Neve Elegantissimi Eyeshadow Palette (BeautyChamber, £21.95) being a favourite and one of my most rated neutral palettes. Neve pressed eyeshadow palettes are absolutely phenomenal, with dreamy formulas, buttery soft powders that cause no fall out, but apply effortlessly and blend easily. The colour-pay off is incredible, easily with the likes of my top-rated high-end brands, with very decent quality at a much cheaper price-point. There's six eyeshadow palettes available in the Neve range, each with ten pretty big shadows - the palettes themselves are long and slim, with each shadow being a very decent 3g. All six palettes available are the same in price, making them at least half the price of most coveted high-end palettes, yet the quality is easily comparable to some of the best. Neve also produce products which are only cruelty free, vegetarian and vegan friendly. What I love most about Neve shadows? The longevity easily compares to the likes of MAC and Urban Decay, which for me is a big selling point.
The Neve Makeup Delight Palette (BeautyChamber*, £21.95) is the most recent Neve offering to join my collection, and one which stood out to me for the beautiful range in shades and finish. Each shade within the palette is completely individual, with no evident theme to the shades selected, except for all making me think of fairies and forests. A palette in collaboration with makeup artist Giulianna Arcarese, named after her YouTube channel. Tacco 12 is a gorgeous burgundy brown with a satin finish, Pacifico a dual-chrome grey with pearlescent sea green and light green reflections, Casa Delight an intense lilac with a velvet finish, Texas is a lovely satin brown with paprika undertones and Biker Chic is a stunning grey taupe with a perfect matte finish. Jet Lag is a pink with undertones of fuchsia and orange with a satin finish, It's a Boy! is an intense and absolutely breath-taking cobalt blue with satin finish, Trinacria is a bright burnt orange with satin finish, Route 66 a lovely sandy beige highlight shade with pink shimmer finish and Monterey is a moss green with matte finish.
Together, shades from the Makeup Delight palette can create a unique, vibrant and eye-catching look that still manages to look chic and wearable. Teamed with other favourite shadows in my collection, Tacco 12, Biker Chic, Texas and Pacifico make perfect crease colours, Route 66 a perfect shade for the inner corner, Jet Lag is perfect for a wash of colour on a Spring day and the remaining shades make the perfect pop of colour in a look. Another impressive palette from Neve, which shade is your favourite?
