The debut TheVeganKind box hit people's letter boxes last month and when I received mine, I was over the moon. A fantastic debut box, I was very impressed with the contents. Because monthly subscription boxes have a habit of being hit and miss, I was expecting TheVeganKind December box* (TheVeganKind*, £10) to be on the same level of the first box - I didn't expect for the December box to be even better than the November box, but boy it is! This month the box has the same great variety as the first including beauty products, household products and yummy sweet treats. For those of you new to TheVeganKind, they are the very first monthly lifestyle subscription service for vegans. Costing just £10 a month (plus £2.95 p&p) TheVeganKind is the perfect monthly treat for vegans, vegetarians and everyone in between! TheVeganKind also support an animal charity every month and leave it to their subscribers to decide on who the charity should be, by suggesting charities and voting over on the TheVeganKind Facebook page. This month the charity is Greyhound Gap, a charity which works to re-home greyhounds. So, let's delve into the December box then, shall we?
Greenfrog All Purpose Natural Cleaner 500ml RRP £2.49: This came with perfect timing as we were just about to run out of our current kitchen cleaner! The Greenfrog All Purpose Natural Cleaner is suitable for use in both the kitchen and bathroom (and I've even used it to clean my rats' cage, which it worked amazingly well for!) A natural cleaner using soapnuts, it's infused with an uplifting blend of neroli and geranium essential oils (yes, it smells lovely!) Such a fab product, it was even shortlisted for the 'Best New Natural Living and Home Product' at the Natural and Organic Awards, 2013! How fab!

Freedom White Mallows Vanilla Flavour 75g RRP £2.50: Oh these were so delicious! Vegan marshmallows made using natural colours, fat free and without using any high-fructose corn syrup, these vanilla marshmallows are actually a lot more delicious than ordinary marshmallows! Me and my partner devoured them rather quickly, and we will definitely be ordering some more! Delicious!

Dr Bronner's Baby Mild Magic Soap 59ml RRP £1.99: Oh there was all of the excitement when I saw this in the box. I adore Dr Bronner's and find it amazing for cleaning makeup brushes. But it's a great multi-purpose cleaner also suitable for sensitive skin, which can be used for everything from washing makeup brushes to your hair, as a body wash and more. These fab 59ml sizes are perfect for travelling and overall, I just couldn't rate Dr Bronner's highly enough. The oils and essential oils used in the formula are all certified organic by the National Organic Standards Program and packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Fantastic to see a brand I know so well and really adore, featured in the December box. Thanks TheVeganKind!

YAOH Lipbalm in Strawberries and Cream 4g RRP £2.75: Lip balm. Everyone loves lip balm! Especially when it smells so delicious. There's a variety of flavours/scents being sent out with the December box and I received Strawberries and Cream which smells delicious and actually much nicer than I expected. With hemp seed oil, the scent of strawberries and cream is natural and not sickly sweet. Perfect for pampering my lips through the cold months!

Arbonne Protein Bar Fruit Flavoured RRP £2: This is the only product in the box which wasn't to my personal taste, nor my partner's. A healthy balance of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, I received a fruit flavoured supplement bar which is advertised as being the perfect answer to satisfying hunger and helping to boost energy. With 15 minerals and vitamins and made with nutrient rich quinoa and 9 grams of pea and rice protein. Unfortunately I found the taste a little bit too unusual for me (I generally don't get on with protein bars, anyway) but if you are looking for a new vegan friendly protein bar, check Arbonne out!

Mendill Organic Towlettes Samples RRP £1: When I posted a photo of the December box to my Instagram, the Mendill towelettes easily got the most comments - it seems these are very popular among bloggers! Organic rejuvenating towelettes which are formulated with the finest 100% certified organic therapeutic essential oils, full of fab antibacterial, antiseptic and therapeutic properties. These are just perfect - I always have to have towelettes in my handbag for on the go and so these lovely Organic Tangerine and Organic Lemon towelettes will soon be put to good use! And I suspect I'll be buying more...

As a lovely little extra bonus gift TheVeganKind included a Christmas snowflake tree decoration, which was promptly stuck to my computer monitor to bring a bit of Christmas festive cheer as I work. A lovely touch! There's also another fab recipe card in this month's box, for The Vegan Word Twice Baked Butternut Squash with Cashew Cheese, Walnuts and Cranberries. I will definitely be giving this recipe a go! If you like the look of TheVeganKind you can subscribe on their website. You can also follow TheVeganKind on Twitter @TheVeganKind and 'Like!' them over on their Facebook page. They also have a YouTube channel and Instagram!
