Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eyes, Lips & Cheeks

Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Collection

OK, OK, it's no secret, we all know by now - I love Bobbi Brown. There's just no way getting around the incredible quality, the gorgeous products and the sleek and chic packaging of Bobbi Brown and they are a brand I see staying at the top of my favourites for a long time yet! The last few limited edition collections from Bobbi Brown have just been unbelievably stunning, and today I am sharing with you a few pieces from the gorgeous Rich Chocolate collection. So besotted with the range, and having swatched it in store, I am hoping to add the perfect finishing touch to my current collection of Bobbi Brown soon, and I have the Rich Chocolate Eye palette (Bobbi Brown, £39.50) in my sights... it will be mine! From the collection I have been trying two lipsticks, two blushes and a mascara.

Bobbi Brown Blush 34 Berry* and 31 Pink Coral* (Bobbi Brown*, 3.7g, £19) - The Bobbi Brown blushes offer a silky, powder product which has a matte finish and incredible longevity. With a wide range of colours, Berry and Pink Coral are new to the blush family, joining the ranks of 18 other beautiful shades. The formula of Bobbi Brown blushes, as well as their other powder products, is always really easy to work with, and I never worry that I'll make a mistake I can't fix. A light hand and slight touch of product is enough for a powerful pop of colour on the apples of your cheeks, softly blended out and Berry gives the perfect autumnal bite of colour from the wind, whilst Pink Coral will give you that rosy, warm glow that's natural and flattering. Berry is definitely getting a lot of love now we're really into October, and Pink Coral is lovely for those barely there, natural makeup days at home.

Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara Black Chocolate Limited Edition* (Bobbi Brown*, £19) - The Extreme Party Mascara is no stranger to a mention here on Tattooed Tealady. Mascara's are one of those products that you can switch between brand and budget, try a new one every time there's a release in Boots, giving anything a go, hoping one day you'll find that perfect mascara. Like a man, but instead of being able to make a damn good cup of tea, it needs to volumise, lengthen, curl. It needs to make my lashes look amazing, because let's face it, my lashes need all the help they can get. My eyelashes have no naturally curl to them whatsoever, falling straight flat and downwards. I have to curl them with eyelash curlers several times just to get even a tiny curl, and the only way my lashes have held a curl has been when I've had them permed. There's a few Rimmel mascaras I adore and their budget-friendly price tag mean they are easily to repurchase, but I can never find that one, special high-street mascara to do everything I want and make my lashes look how I want. Well, Extreme Party Mascara does do that. This volumising mascara can be layered to create beautiful, lengthened and thickened lashes. It holds a curl super easily and it's free of those annoying clumps and flaking you can get with some mascaras. Add to that Vitamins A, C and E and lash conditioners, this is one bold, unique and stand out mascara. I've had the Extreme Party Mascara in my stash in Black for around a year now, and it's by far my favourite mascara - one I will always shell out for. Black Chocolate is a limited edition shade so if browns are your thing, this is one mascara not to pass up. For everyday use, for both top and bottom lashes, I really recommend the Black.

Bobbi Brown Lip Color Baby Pink* and Berry* (Bobbi Brown*, £19) - I've experienced Bobbi Brown lipsticks before, having had a few different shades and finishes applied during some of my makeup lessons. But I've only ever tried them to the extent of having someone else apply them on me with a lip brush. When I saw there were two lipsticks in the collection that I had been sent to try, I was pretty excited to see how the Bobbi Brown lipsticks fared on a more day-to-day basis, to my other favourites. First up, Baby Pink is in shade as it is in name. A pink mauve, this shade is limited edition and exclusive to the Rich Chocolate collection. It's a touch to pale for my lips, which are naturally very dark in colour. But I find this works lovely as a finishing touch to some of my matte, deep nudes and warm pinks. It's a glimmer of something special that transforms a lipstick into something else entirely. Berry, on the other hand, is glorious when worn all on it's own and I cannot get over how very flattering this shade is, every time I wear it. The lipsticks are creamy in formula and have a demi-matte finish with the tiniest touch of gloss. Berry glides onto the lips as if it was made for them, with a beautiful rich berry shade that's warming and bold at the same time. The longevity of Berry is impressive, outlasting many of my usual favourites and whilst wearing either of these shades, my lips remain hydrated, soft and plump. I cannot wait to add more to my collection!
