New Sigma Extended Eye Liner

Sigma is a brand I always lust after, forever hoping they will bring Sigma in it's full glory over to the UK. I'd even be happy with just a flagship store in London; just to have a Sigma store or Sigma website in the UK, would be a beauty adorers dream (... or mine, at least!) I am always excited by new launches from Sigma, even more so when it eventually hits the few lovely UK beauty websites which stock Sigma. One of Sigma's new releases is the Sigma Extended Eye Liner, which has nine metallic, shimmer finish shades.

Sigma refer to the Extended Eye Liners as 'pigments that pop' and their advertising video for the liners is pretty impressive. You can watch the advert here, but boy does it show up British beauty adverts! In fact, I like it that much you can watch it below!

I've been lucky enough to trial three shades from the Extended Eye Liner range, and it was incredibly hard picking between the nine shades. The entire collection seems to have beautifully bright, bold, flattering and sultry shades, it was hard to pick which I liked the most! I opted for Declare, Enlighten and Balance.

Enlighten* caught my eye because I don't own any gold, true gold, eyeliners. I have a lot of different coloured eyeliners, but not gold. A very soft gold, it has the slightest shimmer which works wonderfully well as the shimmer is true to the colour of Enlighten. I've added this lightly on my lower lash line when I've done golden looks over the summer, and I love how it makes a look instantly softer, more subtle. And it works lovely with my brown eyes! I'm also looking forward to trying this in my inner corner as the colder months come, as an alternative to my usual highlight choices.

Declare* reminds me of aubergines and autumn. It's a gorgeous mauve purple that looks super flattering instead of my usual black choices in liner. It's a lovely transition colour as summer turns to autumn, and with it's very slight shimmer it also works lovely as a cream shadow blended in the crease.

Balance* is my favourite of the three. It's the most wearable shades of the three I picked, on an every day basis. A deep, warm brown, this is such a flattering shade which works well on both my upper and lower lash line. Like Declare this also works beautifully as a cream shadow and has been a favourite for me when teaming it with a highlight shade. It has a very slight shimmer, and looks almost metallic in finish.

If you hadn't already gathered, I rather like these liners from Sigma. I love how they are soft and so easy to use, with no dragging or pulling on the skin, and they're super easy to blend out for a softer line - but once dry, they stay! I love that each pencil is packaged in colour true packaging, which makes them easy to identify when reaching for a liner. The shades in the range are just utterly beautiful, and I definitely plan on ordering the other six shades in the range. Yet again, another Sigma product to win me over. (Available at Beauty Chamber*, £8.95)
