Bodhi Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub

A couple of weeks ago I was talking to Jess who runs Spoilt Face over on Twitter and telling her how awfully dry my skin has been of late. Whilst I have skincare products which rescue my skin within a single use, I've found my body care stash lacking. None of my scrubs, ones which I use a lot and love dearly, were cutting it for me. I needed a scrub which was super moisturising all whilst keeping my skin soft and smooth. I love exfoliating, whether it's exfoliating my face with my favourites Origins Never a Dull Moment and Origins Modern Friction, or with a gorgeous scrub which leaves me feeling as if I'm being pampered in a spa, like the NEOM Real Luxury Scrub. But no matter what I used, nothing was cutting it. I love having super soft, smooth and supple skin! I told Jess the kind of product I was after and she recommended this beauty from Bodhi, who then kindly offered to send me a scrub to try out and to help me with my dehydrated, rough skin. The first time the Bodhi Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub* (Bodhi*, £35) was brought to my beauty adorer's attention was in a review from Andy over on Pampered Prince. His review left me more than curious and I made a note to check it out for myself; he made it sound like one of those scrubs you really needed to try. Then Jess did a review over on Spoilt Face, too. Instantly after reading Jess's review I felt knew this was a special scrub. The way Jess described it, well, let's just say it's one of the best reviews I've ever read of a body product.

The ingredients list alone for this beautifully pale peachy pink scrub gives away what an amazing product this is. Nourishing organic shea butter, highly anti-oxidant grape seed oil and skin conditioning olive squalane. With rosemary, geranium, petitgrain and cedarwood essential oils and Himalayan salt crystals which together create what is quite possibly the most amazing, scrub I have ever used. I love the look of this product; a peachy pink which is firm and solid but once worked into the skin, you are met with essential oils which make your skin feel pampered and nourished. The Himalayan salt scrystals perfectly buff my skin to a smooth and supple finish, leaving the essential oils more room to spoil the smooth skin left behind. Not only does this make my skin feel soft, but for the first time ever with a scrub, I have noticed a difference in the texture and appearance of my skin overall. Not everywhere, just on my thighs, but this scrub is definitely doing something positive. The scent, oh the scent. It's just so heavenly and instantly relaxing, leaving me feeling utterly peaceful, yet revived at the same time. This isn't a normal body scrub, this is utterly unique and a product I now hold above all my other body scrubs. This is the Goddess of body scrubs, absolutely heavenly. Can you tell I love it yet? Has it sorted my dry, rough skin? Yes. Not only that but it has made me feel as though I have completely new, fresh and young skin. I'm besotted.
