NEOM Contentment, what have you done to me?

Let me just start this review by saying one word.

Perfection.

If you follow me on Twitter you would have seen me go on and on and on about this candle. The newest offering from NEOM is a new scent; Contentment. Contentment has a heart-warming and sense envoking scent of blackcurrant, from the fragrant South African buchu plant. Add to that spicy nutmeg and warming ginger, and we have a scent that has quiet possibly, completely stolen my heart.

The first time I unvieled this candle, I melted. I know, it's the candle that's meant to melt, but seriously, the scent of this is incredible. I'm actually struggling to think of the right words to describe it. So let me instead give you this.

This candle reminds me of Summer days spent at fruit farms picking fruit. This candle reminds me of walking through fields in Spring and smelling the blackcurrants a mile off. This candle makes me feel utterly relaxed and content as soon as I smell it, it's like a magical spell which lifts any worries or stress and fills me with a content, soothed feeling. This candle is so addictive, I have lit it every single day since I have had it and I know as soon as it finishes, I am going to have to repurchase because this scent is not one I can live without. Yes, I am genuinely saying I can't live without a candle.

"A healthy outside starts from the inside."

I know a lot of you often remark when I post about NEOM candles, that they are something you want but not something you can justify spending the money on. But let me say this - Just as you pay for quality with makeup, skincare, body care and hair care, you really do sometimes have to splash out that extra few pounds for the high quality of products like this. NEOM candles burn for 50 hours (that's 30% longer than most standard candles, fyi) NEOM candles are made using only vegetable wax and pure essential oils, with no synthetic fragrances in sight, working as a powerful holistic treatment.

Contentment Treatment
"
A moment of contentment, of something that feels familiar and reassuring. A comforting scent to surround yourself with if you're feeling tired, overworked or just overawed. A scent that makes you feel you're home."

If you ever decide to treat yourself to a NEOM candle, this is the one to get. Whether you're into floral scents, fruity scents, spicy scents, I really think anyone would adore this scent. If you are going to treat yourself to that something oh-so-special, this needs to be your treat.

You can find this candle on the NEOM website here and it costs £39.50. It is also available in travel size for £15. I can't wait to see what comes next in the Contentment range, and I'm hoping there's some bath products and room sprays to come in this scent soon!
