Enrapture Encode Totem Styler

In January I shared with you the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers, which I love! Today I am going to be sharing with you my thoughts on the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler! Another Enrapture favourite among bloggers and curl-lovers alike, this is a product I have found myself reaching for on a more day-to-day basis, as it is just that touch quicker and easier to use than the Extremity Heated Rollers, so perfect for every day and on the go styles full of volume, curls and bounce!

The Enrapture Encode Totem Styler, which can be found on the Boots website and costs £74.99, is unlike any other curling wand I have tried. There's three different settings on the Encode Totem Styler, which lets you create a variety of looks ranging from glamorous ringlets, to bohemian curls, to soft waves, or even a variety! You can create any curled look you desire with the super easy Encoder Dial, which works to decide which type of curl you go for. The handy instruction booklet which comes with these suggests you use the Encoder Dial in options such as 1,2,3 or 2,2,3. But I prefer to do it a little bit differently to the ways suggested!

To use the Encode Totem Styler, I sectioned my hair into six sections. Before using, I blow-dried my hair using the VO5 Amplifying Blow-dry Lotion. Then I got to curling! For the bottom two sections of my hair, I used the Encode Dial on '1,1,1', then for the third and fourth section I used the Encode Dial on '2,2,2' and for the final top two sections, '3,3,3'. Basically working from  the bottom creating loose curls, then creating tighter curls as I worked my way up, with the tightest curls at the top of my head! I really like the way it turns out when I use them like this, and have popped a photo at the top of this post for you to see what the curls look like!

I've really enjoyed using this and it doesn't take long at all. In fact, the more I use it, the quicker I am! I would really recommend these for anyone whose not quite confident enough for the fab Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers, and who wants the perfect curling tool. Because this my lovelies, really is perfect.

  5. I've seen these absolutely everywhere and they look fab, I tend to stick to my Ghd's to curl as I find that some curling irons can leave your hair looking a bit bridesmaidy (you know the really overdone, crispy Bridesmaids curls?! Ew!) so I might have to invest in some of these! Your hair looks really lovely.

    1. I can't curl my hair properly with GHD's unfortunately, so a great set of curlers or a curling wand is a must xo

  6. This looks fab - loving the finished style! I think my hair is too short for one of these though - it's shoulder length - so might end up with curls at my ears ;)
