5 Mini Benefit Reviews

A picture of Benefit mini samples

I love Benefit. From the gorgeous, eye-catching packaging which draws you in, to the huge variety of beauty products they lovingly create and master. It's a brand I admired from afar growing up, then indulged in every now and then as my interest in makeup got bigger. And now, it's a brand I happily turn to for a treat because I know their products are certainly worth the pennies and pounds. Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on five Benefit minis!

Stay Don't Stray
Stay don't stray is a dual-action power primer which works to make concealers and eye-shadows stay put! It stops concealers and eye-shadows creasing, as well as eye-shadows staying vibrant and colours standing out! It comes in a universal shade and also has Vitamin C and E which helps fight the signs of aging. I have been using this most days as an eye-shadow primer. Although it doesn't have the same lasting power as the Two Faced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay Primer Potion, it does do the job at keeping my eye-shadow crease free for a long time, meaning it's great to use even when you're out all day! You can find the full sized Stay Don't Stray which is 10ml on the Benefit website here and it costs £19.50.

Erase Paste
This is my favourite under-eye concealer! It's also one of Benefit's best sellers! A concentrated, creamy concealer, it works to brighten and camouflage in one easy step! It targets dark circles, discolouration and imperfections and comes in three shades with brightening melon undertones to suit every complexion. I love using this as my under-eye concealer because it hides dark circles and really brightens the eye area. As well as staying put all day and making sure my makeup doesn't crease under my eyes! The full sized Erase Paste is 4.4g and costs £19.50. You can find it on the Benefit website here.

Laugh with Me Lee Lee
Laugh with Me Lee Lee is has a woody, floral scent with a light blend of citrus, jasmine and lily blossoms. It is a naturally light scent with a classic feminine style. I have only tried one other Benefit perfume before and that is Sofia, which I adore. Just like Sofia, I adore the scent of this perfume and it's one I hope to pick up in full size soon! The full size is 30ml and you can find it on the Benefit website here. It costs £29.50.

POREfessional
POREfessional is the UK's number one best selling primer! It quickly minimises the appearance of pores and fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin. A silky, lightweight balm, you can apply this under or over makeup (I prefer under!) Although it comes out as an almost tan shade, once blended in to the skin it is translucent, and has an oil-free formula which complements all skin tones and helps makeup stay put. It also contains Vitamin E derivative, which is known to protect the skin from free radicals. I love using this on my t-zone and chin, but find it is a bit of a pointless product anywhere else on my face. On my t-zone and chin it works to cameflouge and hide my pores, and works as a lovely base to apply makeup. The full sized version is 22ml and costs £23.50. You can find it on the Benefit website here

Ooh La Lift
Ooh La Lift is an under-eye brightening boost which is advertised as being almost like an instant eye-lift! It contains raspberry extracts and light-reflecting pigments to instantly perk up tired eyes. A delicate pink balm, it can be applied on to bare skin or even over makeup. Out of the five products I have shared today, this is probably the one I have used the least, simply because for me, Erase Paste is unbeatable. But I think this is still a good under-eye eye-brightening product and it's very easy to use and blend in. You can find it on the Benefit website here and a full size is 7g and costs £16.50.

  9. I have the Porefessional and Erase Paste, I love them both and use them on a daily basis! I've been in search of a good eyeshadow primer and I'm sad that the Benefit one isn't one of the best! Good job I didn't buy it this weekend as I need something with staying power!
