SP Wella Luxe Oil

SP Wella Luxe Oil

Wella. It's pretty much a name I, as I am sure many of you have also, grown up with. Wella is one of the most popular and frequently used brands in hair salons across the Country - those who haven't succumbed to fancy, high-end brands, anyway. Wella is a long-lasting brand whose products can be identified anywhere. Wella is the brand that makes me think of going to the hairdressers as a sold with my mum whilst she got a cut and blow dry - Wella is the scent which carries through my memories of those visits. But Wella isn't old or behind the times, in fact their products are just as forefront as any high-end, glitzy and glamorous brand taking over the hair scene. And this Luxe Oil hair oil, makes Wella stand out as the brand who will always be there.

SP Wella Luxe Oil

The Wella Luxe Oil is a salon visit in a bottle. It transforms your hair, protects your hair, smooths and adds shine. It contains a fusion of oils which penetrate the hair structure to transform the hair from the inside out, and protects the keratin in your hair, leaving instant and long lasting smoothness. It contains Argan, Jojoba and Almond oils and you need as little as 1-2 pumps for all of your hair. You can use this on wet or dry hair, and you only need apply it to your mid-lengths and ends - avoiding the root area. Its most beneficial for dry, damaged and colour treated hair, but you can use this on any hair and still see the benefits.

My hair is in pretty good condition - I pamper my hair as much as my face and body, which is why I use hair oils so often. A hair oil can do wonders for your hair if used in the right way. Because my hair is so fine I have taken to applying this just to my ends, then any excess rubbed between the palms of my hands and just briefly swiped over my mid-lengths. When applied to dry hair, I find at the end of the day it can give a bit of that much unwanted greasy look. So I much prefer applying this to wet hair, then blow drying. It pretty much has the same effect on my hair as my Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil; just with a little bit less of that weight-less feeling. It leaves my hair feeling soft, looking smooth and in great condition and it also has the most sweet and subtle almond scent. It also comes in a bottle twice the size of any other hair oil I have seen, and a darn good price too of just £19.80 (with free delivery might I add!).

You can purchase this huge but fantastic SP Wella Luxe Oil over on the Look Fantastic website, here. It costs £19.80 with free delivery!

  4. I am so bad at taking care of my hair. I like how you said this can be used on wet or dry hair, because I always think oil feels so nice and smoothing on dry hair :)

    1. It does! Avoid the root area if you do apply it to dry hair though as it could result in a greasy look! xo

  5. The Wella SP (Salon Perfect I believe it stands for) is their high end range, it's what they use in Vidal Sassoon :) My hair would always smell amazing after getting it washed there after using that :)

    1. If you are struggling with them, try avoiding the root area as that's usually where people find their hair going greasy! And the tiniest amount too. A little goes a LONG way with hair oils :) xo
