L'Occitane Honey

L'Occitane Honey Whipped Body Cream and L'Occitane Honey Lip Balm

Hello lovelies, I am super excited to share this post with you today as it is all about some fab new products which have been launched by L'Occitane, today!!

A new limited edition range, the shea butter and honey ultra gentle range comprises of four products. The Honey Whipped Body Cream, the Honey Foaming Gel, the Honey Hand Cream and the Honey Shea Butter. Today I am going to be sharing with you my thoughts on the Honey Whipped Body Cream and the Honey Shea Butter!

The L'Occitane Honey Shea Butter is a lip balm in a handy little tin, perfect for popping in your hand bag on the go! It has the gorgeous and heavenly scent of honey and Shea butter which runs through this range. Shea butter is a wonderful ingredient praised for it's nourishing properties. I've been using this for the past week in place of my usual lip favourite, the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid. And it is so utterly lovely! It reminds me of the Lush lip balms in a tin - but far softer, more gentle and soothing and also with more benefits. At the time of year where your lips are left more battered and worn than the rest of your body, this has been a joy. It's soothed my lips when they've been dry and sore, and after continued use, it's left them soft, moisturised and left lipstick gliding on perfectly. You can pick this little beauty up on the L'Occitane website here for £7.

The Honey Whipped Body Cream has truly taken over as my favourite body butter. I didn't think anything could over power my love for The Body Shop Body Butters, or the Rituals Organic Orange and Cedar Ultra Rich Whipped Body Cream. But this has. Oh boy has it stolen my heart! As well as the fabulous benefical properties of Shea butter, honey is also a wonderful ingredient. It softens and comforts your skin; even the most sensitive of skins. The Honey Whipped Body Cream is a delicious body cream which is light and fluffy, creamy, and oh so very soft. It literally melts on to your skin as you apply it and it leaves the most delicious, warming scent of honey which lingers for hours after. This is a real winning body care product in my eyes and I am going to have to stock up before it sells out (damn limited edition products!) because I know I am only going to want more once this runs out! You can find this on the L'Occitane website here where a 125g tin costs £16.

  3. ooo I may have to check out the L'Occitane Honey Shea Butter. I had the Lush lip balm before but in the colder months I had to keep it in my pocket otherwise it got too hard to use.

  4. These both sound lovely. I am so into bidy butters in the winter. My skin is always dry but the central heating and the cold weather just hit it hard & I need a heavy duty body butter. I will be checking this range out when I get chance.

  7. Oh wow, the Whipped Body Cream sounds amazing! I adore the texture and smell (which is honey too) of the Kiehl's one but it's like over £30 which is just crazy expensive. Do you know how long these will be hanging around for? I would finish all my other body butters before indulging in this but I don't want it to be gone before I do! xx

    1. It is, so amazing and utterly heavenly! I'm not sure how long they will be out so I would say invest sooner rather than later to be sure you don't miss out! xo
