Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers

Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers

Naturally, my hair is curly, and wavy, and frizzy. It can be a real pain to keep up and often I just opt for straightening it to save the hassle of trying to keep it under control. Although other's often compliment me on how my hair looks naturally, to me it's just a mess! A big curly, wavy, frizzy mess and I really don't like it very much. There's a few products which do do the job of healing tame the frizz of my curls, such as the Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil which is great for softening and taming frizz, and the Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Reactivating Mist which is really good at refreshing my curls. But sometimes it's really nice to do something to my hair which makes those frizzy and wavy curls match the rest of my curls, giving me volume and root lift, and polished curls all round. And that is exactly what the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers do!

I still remember the very first time I tried heated rollers on myself. I was working in the salon that I ran the hair side for, and I had had a full head of synthetic hair extensions put in. I loved them! They were long, jet black like my own hair, but with random wild colours thrown in like canary yellow, purple, electric blue and pillar box red. The only problem was that I couldn't do anything with them. As they were synthetic hair, straighteners were an absolute no-no. I could blow-dry them straight, but with the length and them being synthetic  I couldn't curl them. And so I tried heated rollers. And they worked a treat! So when these much more modern and hi-tech heated rollers from Enrapture popped through my door, I knew they would be amazing. And they really didn't let down!

The way these heated rollers work is far more complex than any other rollers I've used or even seen. The rollers each emit heat from the core of each roller and the butterfly clip simultaneously, which is passed from the roller case which the rollers are slotted on to. The butterfly clips themselves are unique as they have two metal plates which collect the heat the same way in which the rollers do, then when on your hair over the rollers, keep the heat in which makes your curl not only last longer, but look more defined. The rollers have a high constant heat that can easily style even the longest and thickest hair, but the rollers themselves won't burn you when you are putting them on. They curl in ten minutes flat (although I leave them a little longer) and leave a set and long lasting curl. You have two different sizes of rollers; ten large rollers, which are great for extreme volume or waves, and ten medium rollers which are great for extreme curls. Because there's twenty rollers you can either do a uniformed curl all over, or mix them up, and there's more than enough for a full head of rollers so you don't have to worry about not having enough.

I'm really happy with these - They are so, so easy to use, they heat up so quickly, I've not had any burned fingers (or scalp!) the butterfly clips keep the rollers in place and the whole system is just wonderful really. They provide me with 'extreme' curls which can either be left as they are when they come out of the rollers, or lightly combed through for more subtle curls. They give me such great root lift and really give me tons of volume. I think I am in love if I am honest! I know I'm being a terrible blogger with no photos of them in and afterwards - But keep an eye on my Instagram and I'll get some up in the next few days (I blame Winter lighting!)

Would I recommend the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers? Yes! I definitely would and I can see myself turning to these more than I do my GHD's. And that's saying something! You can find out more about the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers on the Enrapture website here

  1. These are a lovely little set, I like what you get with it too, it seems very helpful. However, any sort of roller leaves me in a huge panic and I just cannot use them! I got the totem styler for Christmas and that does the job for me :) xo

I've had my eye on the totem styler for a while now, but I watched a video of another blogger doing her hair with these and it looked absolutely beautiful afterwards, just the way I have always wanted my hair to be! Shame the bank is empty after Christmas! :(
