E.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set

A picture of E.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set
The E.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set is actually something I bought before Christmas, but never opened or used until very recently. I bought it on a whim when doing a stock up order on some of my favourite E.l.f. products. I'd never tried a makeup setting spray so I thought, why not?

The 100 Day Challenge - Update # 3

And so we come to the fourth week of the challenge... I have now done a whole month of the 100 day challenge! Time has actually flown by and I genuinely can't believe a month has already passed. There's not a whole lot I've been lusting after this week, but let's have a look at what has caught my eye....

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

A picture of Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
Burt's Bees products are 100% natural. Not only that, but they are have recyclable packaging, their own product packaging being made from recycled polypropylene, are certified by the Natural Products Association and are planet and animal friendly! This to me, makes it a very respectable brand. Any brand which can do all of that and more, is a winner for me.

The Hunger Games Trilogy Review

A picture of the The Hunger Games book trilogy
The Hunger Games trilogy has been a much talked about, and raved about, trilogy for a fair few months now. The books themselves have been out a considerable while now but since the release of the movie of the first book in the trilogy, the books are everywhere you look.

There's no denying it - I love Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters! I have three now. Lollipop (read review here), Tutti Fruitti (read review here) and now, Peach Parfait! I was lucky to pick this new lovely shade up from a blog sale Lauren is having. Be sure to check it out!

Burt's Bees Mystery Grab Bag

A picture of Burt's Bees Products

Back in May I saw a mystery grab bag that Burt's Bees were selling, for the bargain price of £20! Instantly I was drawn in and ordered one straight away, and eagerly waited for my mystery grab bag to arrive. Unfortunately, there was however an issue with my order. And in the end I had to contact Burt's Bee's to get a replacement sent out, which they promptly did.

A not so 'Glossybox'...

A picture of a Glossybox

So this week saw the arrival of the June Glossybox on my doorstep. As with previous months, I was so, so excited to receive it and I squealed as I picked it up. I love receiving beauty subscription boxes and I had really high hopes for the June box. That was, until I opened it. So what did I get in this month's box?

The 100 Day Challenge - Update # 2

And so we reach the end of the third week of my 100 Day Challenge. I'm shocked how fast the past three weeks have actually gone. It's actually really surprising to think three weeks, or 21 days, are already complete! So, lets start with new items on my wish list!

MAC Chatterbox Lipstick

A picture of MAC Chatterbox Lipstick
My most popular post so far wasn't a review or a post raving about a new product, but one sharing my so-far negative experiences with MAC sales staff. The post, Mac Breaks My Heart, was read, re-tweeted and commented on more than I could have ever imagined. People shared with me similar stories of MAC customer service and although the majority were negative experiences, it was nice to know I wasn't the only one who had been receiving terrible customer service, particularly at the Nottingham branch.

May 2012 Empties

A picture of beauty products
This is my very first empties post! All of these empties were used up and collected throughout May! It took some effort, I'll tell ya! I've seen quite a few people do posts and YouTube videos on their empties and it really spurred me on and motivated me to get using products up myself, especially as I have an abundance of them!

The 100 Day Challenge - Update # 1

If you read my post on the 1st of June you will know that I have decided to do the '100 Day Challenge' (read here) The 100 Day Challenge is basically a spending ban; no buying anything for 100 days. Which equates to three months and one week - A long time! Of course I have set myself certain rules with this challenge, which you can find within the post linked above.

RedKen Smooth Down Heat Glide

A picture of RedKen Smooth Down Heat Glide
Did you know, I am a fully trained hair dresser? Yup. It's true. I am. I used to run the hair side of a hair and beauty salon, too. But alas, I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do forever more and I wanted to go back to College, gain my A Levels and then go on to University, which I did. But when I worked in the salon I was trained in and used on a daily basis, RedKen.

So on Wednesday, me, my boyfriend and my best friend headed over to Download. Something I had been looking forward to, although admittedly, not as much as I have been in the past for other festivals over previous years.

The 100 day challenge...

Yup, you read right. Me, miss I can never stop spending money, is going to be doing the 100 day challenge. As of today, June 1st, I am now doing the challenge, which will end on September 8th. 100 days. Three months and one week. A long, long time. The 100 day challenge has been done by a few bloggers and the place I first heard about it was Danielle who runs A Blog From Blackpool.
