Revlon Lollipop ColourBurst Lip Butter

A picture of Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Fruitti and Lollipop

So last week I reviewed my Revlon lip butter in shade Tutti Fruitti. From this review you could tell that although I was chuffed with how nourished my lips felt, I was really disappointing in the lack of staying power by the shade and had hoped for far better. And so came the time to try out my second Revlon lip butter in shade lollipop!

Oscar's Alice in Wonderland birthday party

I wanted to share something a little bit different with you all today. That gorgeous little man in the photo with me is my nephew, Oscar. And on Wednesday he turned 1! I have no idea where the past year has gone, time has flown by! Oscar is a very special little man to me, whose been an absolute ray of sunshine in all of our lives and been an amazingly positive impact on me personally. His birthday party was a Mad Hatters very un-birthday tea party! (The love of tea runs in the family) So I wanted to blog some of my favourite photos and share them with you all!

Eye brow wax/reshape update

So I've just got back from having my eye brows reshaped. I am happy with the overall shape. A tiny bit was taken from the centre (the bit between both brows, not the centre of a brow) of the left eye brow to make it more symmetrical to the right eye brow which was ruined by a trainee beautician six years ago. So they look much better, more symmetrical and even. I also had the right one reshaped into more of a curve to fit the left one.

Bare brows

Ok so there are two things I wanted to share with you all today. The first is sort of a confession. I am a bronzer addict. I have always relied on bronzer, it's been a part of my make up routine for as long as I can remember. But recently I have become fascinated with blushers and finding the perfect one (or ones as it turned out to be) for my skin tone. So today I have ditched the bronzer and instead opted for blusher. It's not overly obvious in this photo but it's actually a little more obvious in real life!

Collective fashion and beauty haul

A picture of a Topshop handbag and makeup bag

So yesterday I went shopping with the very beautiful Hayley! Originally we had planned to have some lunch and do a little bit of shopping in our local town, Loughborough. But we soon decided we needed a proper shopping spree and went to Leicester instead!

My make up remover of choice

A picture of L'Oreal Dermo Expertise Gentle Eye Make Up Remover.
A lot of people have been raving about Bioderma as the miracle worker make up remover. But for me, it's a little out of my price range. And besides that, I have a loyal make up remover that I have used for years now and I wanted to share it with all of you!

Revlon Lip Butter Tutti Fruitti

A picture of Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Fruitti and Lollipop
For the past couple of weeks, everywhere you look, beauty bloggers World over are raving about the new Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butters! And so, they started to appeal to me. I've not read one negative review, every one seems to be in love with these lip butters! So I recently bought two, Tutti Fruitti and Lollipop. I've only used Tutti Frutti so far so I am reviewing this one now, but will review Lollipop at a later date!

Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask

A picture of Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask

I have used dozens of different face masks over the years. From Sanctuary to Soap & Glory, Avon and even the £1 sachet face masks you find in supermarkets. The affects are always good, but don't last too long. Until I tried this!

My favourite foundations.

I've tried a lot of foundations over the years and I finally have three which are ones I plan to keep in my make up collection. But as I have different uses for each, I thought I would do a quick review on each.

Boots haul + reviews

I adore shopping, and this week me and my bestie had a quick shopping trip into our local town. There were a few things I had in mind to pick up and I wanted to stick to those set products to stop myself doing my usual over spending, and I managed it, hurrah! I've had a couple of days to give everything a little try and wanted to give it all a mini review. And I am sure in the future when I am more acquainted with it all, they will all get a proper review.

Lush Volcano Foot Mask & Scrub Review

A picture of Lush Volcano Foot Mask & Scrub

I hate my feet. They are always dry and rough and after a long day out, they ache! So as often as I can I get my foot spa out and have a little pamper.

Lush Lip Scrub Review

A picture of Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
I adore so many Lush products and this lip scrub in flavour bubblegum, is one of my favourites! I actually had to take a few trips into Lush and eye it up several times before I finally took the plunge to buy it, and that was thanks to the lovely staff at the Nottingham branch who gave me a sample to take home!

Where's my mirror with pretty lights?

I would love to be able to say that I have some extravagant beauty desk where all my stuff is neatly arranged and organised, with a mirror with lights around and every last tool you can imagine to help me put on my face in glamorous style.

Who is the tattooed tealady?

I think for my first post, it would only be fair to tell you a little about me! Seeing as this blog will predominately be about the things I like and enjoy, and what I think about stuff!
