Neve French Royalty Collection

A picture of the Neve French Royalty Collection

Not so long ago I tried my very first Neve products, a beautiful neutrals palette. I adore this palette, called Elegantissimi, really impressed me as my first time trying Neve. You can read my review of the Elegantissimi palette here. Today I am going to be sharing with you a few products from Neve's French Royalty collection, four eye-shadows, two blushes and an eyeliner. from the general Neve range.

The Neve French Royalty eye-shadows, which come in four shades and can be found on the CuteCosmetics website here, come in 2g pots and cost £6.50 each. Mineral eye-shadows, these are natural, versatile and highly pigmented. Chateau is a duo chrome brown with hints of mauve and pistachio green, Sang Bleu is a duo chrome with purple and blue highlights, Versailles is a bright and shiny gold with amber undertones and Collier is a silver with a light grey base, with a slight blue satin sheen and glitter. Each can be used dry as they come, or with a slightly wet eye-shadow brush and contain 100% natural mineral ingredients. They contain no preservatives, silicones, glycerin or petrolatum, as is the same with all of Neve's products, and they are formulated to reduce risk of allergies as well as being fragrance free. Cruelty free, vegetarian and vegan friendly and all over lovely. I find I prefer these mineral eye-shadows when applied wet, and although only four shades are available in this range, it's enough to create a variety of looks.

The Neve Pastello Eye pencil in sapphire blue is oh so very pretty. Quite versatille, too, this pencil can be used either to line or to shade. It glides on easily and has a similar, although not quite as high, quality of the Urban Decay 24-7 liners. This particular shade has an almost metallic look to it and I've been loving it for a day time smokey eye. You can find this shade, and the other 11 eye pencil shades available on the CuteCosmetics website, here, and they cost £4.95 each.

The Neve French Royaly mineral blushers, which come in 4g posts costing £10.50, are just as lovely to use as the eye-shadows. These blushes define, brighten and give a healthy and natural look to cheekbones. Noblesse is a pink brick shade with lilac sation, and Boudoir is a light peach pink with delicate mauve satin. Each applies easily, the colour can be built up and they have good lasting power. I only tend to need to top these up if I am out all day long!
