Antipodes Divine Face Oil Organic Avocado Oil & Rosehip

Back in August Selfridges released a limited edition bespoke beauty box (you can read my review of the box here!) I was one of the lucky few to snap one up before they sold out and the main reason I wanted the box, was this product. The Antipodes Organic Avocado Oil & Rosehip Divine Face Oil. I love Antipodes, there's no denying it. Their packaging is gorgeous, their ethics are right up my street and all of the products I have tried from them so far have surpassed all of my expectations. Over the past two months this product has become my absolute skin saviour and I genuinely could not imagine not having it. Apart from when testing out other serums or treatments, I have applied this every single morning and night for the past two months. And on those days when I don't use it, I really see a difference in my skin - and not in a positive way.

The Antipodes Divine Face Oil claims to leave skin feeling fresh and plumped. It actively boosts type 1 collagen in skin cells, targets scars and wrinkles and eases the effects of aging. It gives a lift to tired, stressed and sun-damaged skin and is nutrient-rich and certified organic. It helps to deliver essential nourishment for fresh, healthy skin. It's the superior collagen boosting action of avocado oil which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and age spots, whilst added rosehip helps the avocado oil target scars and wrinkles. It's active ingredients are avocado oil, kiwi-seed oil and jojoba.

I pop this on morning and night before my moisturisers. Since using this my skin has felt softer, yet firm and plump. It feels moisturised and nourished without making my oily skin go doo-lally and it just really makes my skin feel perfect. I adore this, and I already have another bottle in back-up which I was lucky to win in a giveaway. This is an oil, so the 30ml bottle is going to last a long time. Like I said I've been using this for two months now morning and night, except when trying out new serums, oils or treatments, and I have probably only used half a cm of the product. Which is nothing when you think about it! I know a lot of people who read my skincare reviews or who I talk to about skincare say that products like this, which give your skin the benefits and results that this does, just aren't in their price range which is why they don't buy them. But that cannot be said for this product. A 25ml bottle is available from the Antipodes website, which you can find here, and costs only £18.99. A 25ml bottle is probably going to last you around six to eight months. That is a long time. So for less than £20 you're making an investment in a product that really will last and make itself worth it's money. I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough and out of all the Antipodes products I have, this is my favourite. This is the one I cannot live without and this is the one I would recommend to everyone until the cows came home! It's my skin saviour and will definitely be making it on to my list of favourite products and new finds of 2012.

  2. So glad you reviewed this! I've been thinking about trying it for a while now and I think I definitely will since you said it works well with your oily skin because thats the main reasons why I haven't really tried face oils because I don't want them to make my skin even more oily! Great review as always Sophia :)

  5. Wow this sounds like an amazing product, I used to be against using oils because I thought they'd make my skin worse in terms of oiliness but wish I had gone against that earlier than I did lol. Really want to try this now!

  7. I've been wanting to try Antipodes, I've heard so many good reviews about their products. I think it's the Manuka Honey mask I've seen! I'll definitely put this one a to-try list. I need an oil now it's getting colder.
