MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

A picture of MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

When MUA released the Undressed palette, I wanted it so badly. I lusted after it for months and months. But at the time I was doing The 100 Day Challenge. So spending and splurging was not allowed! Not even for a £4 eyeshadow palette. But as you can imagine, one of the first things I did when I finished The 100 Day Challenge was make an online order for some lusted after MUA products. And there was no way I was going to order anything without putting the Undressed palette in my basket, too! It's been raved about by everyone whose tried it, it's been compared to the Naked palette by Urban Decay and it's been mentioned in monthly favourites and holy grail posts for months. I needed it, I wanted it, I had to have it.

When it arrived, I was not disappointed. It has twelve beautiful shades, mostly all shimmer with just three matte shades. It is perfect. In every way, perfect. You can create neutral eyes, day time smokey eyes or intense smokey eyes, just to name a few of the looks I have created with this. The pigmentation, is amazing. The formula, is lovely. The shades are soft, so, so easy to blend and last all day. And no, I don't use an eye primer! They are just really that amazing. This has to be not only my favourite MUA palette, but my favourite palette, ever. I love it. I reach for it most days and I know next time I do an MUA order, I'll buy a couple for reserve and I also plan on getting this for a few friends for Christmas. It's just so versatile! I do agree that it's very similar to the Naked palette from Urban Decay; a hugely hyped, adored and raved about palette, and if I am honest? I prefer this. The fact that you pay £36 for the Naked 2 palette and this costs just £4? It just goes to show that high-end is not always better. Because this palette is truly amazing and everyone needs it in their makeup collection!

You can find this beautiful yet super purse-friendly palette in Superdrug stores and it costs just £4! I am going to be getting the MUA Heaven and Earth palette next - A dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette I hear! Have you got the Undressed palette? What do you think to it? Or is it on your wishlist? Let me know! I'd love to hear your thoughts on my favourite eyeshadow palette!

    1. It might be worth asking on the Twitter or Facebook - I get a bit confused with MUA shades as none of them have names, just numbers! xo

  5. MUA palettes are so good! I used to be so snobby and think something that cheap couldn't be good, boy was I wrong! I noticed you mentioned that you wanted the Heaven and Earth palette because its the naked palette dupe, just thought i'd let you know this palette is the dupe for the naked palette. They are almost exactly the same when swatched side by side!, here is a post (not mine btw) just to show you the swatches :) http://www.bloomzy.co.uk/2012/09/dupe-mua-undressed-vs-ud-naked-palette.html

  16. This has been on my wishlist for ages, there's no way I'd spend £36 on eyeshadow - I'd prefer to splurge on foundation or something like that, and buy cheap eyeshadow. I love MUA, can't wait to buy this - I'm glad you said it's better than UD! Xo

  21. I do love this palette, especially the warmer shades! However, I do have to use the brush from the naked2 palette because I can't work with the one you get with it! For £4, it's excellent, but for a treat I'm sticking with Urban Decay :) x

  23. Adore this! (sorry for late comment, just reading your blog and loving it!)
this was one of those, saw this and HAD to have it purchases.. helps that it was only £4 aswell.. Have to say I never wanted the Naked palette as I have a fabulous TIGI one in nude tones (with some lush wine burgandy thrown in for good measure) which I use when I want a nude eye look, and to be honest - that isn't often!
UNTIL NOW! I am obsessed, I use it every day, it lasts all day with no fall out, creasing etc and I use it straight over foundation no primer. Am utterly in love and off to buy one for my best mate for Christmas and another MUA palette in my more usual jewel colours. :D
I just LOVE that a really genuinely good quality product, that can rival the high end brands is SO cheap! :)
