US Exclusive Shades | Maybelline Color Tattoo

If you read my post a couple of months back on the first three shades I picked up from this range, you will know that at first I hated them (see my post about the first three shades I owned, here) I just found them impossible to use, even harder to blend and for about a good month or so, they were a big regret of mine money wise. Then I found the perfect brush to use them with, a synethic eyeshadow brush. Since then I have loved them, but the shades I reach for the most are these three beauties, sent to me by Amiiee. The shades she sent me were Tenacious Teal, Pomegranate Punk and Edgy Emerald. I wanted some more 'wild' shades, for when I do more colourful eye makeup.

Since having these shades I have found myself doing colourful eyes a lot more often. They are the perfect base and I adore them all. My favourite, is Pomegranate Punk. It's the perfect base for an Autumn eye with purples and deep red browns. It also teams up beautiful with my Inika mineral shadow in shade Velvet (see my Inika mineral makeup review here!) I am even more in love with the Maybelline Color Tattoos than I was when I finally found the perfect brush. And I really do so wish that Maybelline would expand their UK line, especially with the limited edition fall shades currently out in America.

What is your favourite Maybelline Color Tattoo shade? You can find these on the Boots website, here, and they retail at £4.99.

  8. I only have one of these (Permanent Taupe) but have only used it once, can't seem to get along with it and might actually pop it in a blog sale. I really like the look of some of the US shades though! xx
