Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Organic Lemon Oil

A picture of Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Organic Lemon Oil

A few weeks ago I review the Lanolips 101 Ointment and particularly, the review was all about the Lanolips 8 hour challenge. You can read my review of the Lanolips 101 Ointment plus my thoughts on the 8 hour challenge, here. I really liked the Lanolips 101 Ointment and I said in my review that I would love to try the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Organic Lemon Oil next, opposed to repurchasing the Lanolips 101 Ointment when it ran out. I was very kindly sent the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid to try out and I was really excited to try it because I knew it'd be a great product, but I was really intrigued as to what the scent, texture and feel of this one would be like in comparison. Before I get in to my thoughts on this product I want to share this video with you. It is all about the Lemonaid Lip Aid, as told by the owner and creator of Lanolips and I think it just perfectly describes this product and why the Lanolips lip products are so wonderful! I don't usually add videos here on my blog, but this one was one I felt was definitely worth sharing!

Sounds great, right? But what do I think of this product now I've been trailing it everyday? Well for starts, I love the packaging for Lemonaid Lip Aid and prefer it to the 101 Ointment. It's just a bit more glamorous really, isn't it? Secondly, as soon as you open this product you can smell the most beautiful scent of lemons. It's like the perfect mix between Lush Lemony Flutter (read review of that here) and the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme (read the review of that, here) Fresh, zesty lemon scents have quickly become one of my favourite scents and this does not let me down! Performance wise this is slightly easier to get out of the tube than the 101 Ointment, and it's just as thick and moisturising. It leaves my lips feeling very silky soft and I like the slight, very subtle shimmer in it because when I wear it alone it gives my lips a nice healthy glow! It's just as super lovely as I expected it to be and this one is definitely one I would repurchase when it runs out!

  1. I'm loving lemon scents too after finally trying Burts Bees Cuticle Cream. This looks like a lovely lip salve, although a little expensive!xx

    1. Lemon is just a beautiful scent I think! It is a bit to pay for a lip salve but it is also going to last months and months. You need the tiniest amount and the tubes are so big! So it's worth the investment! xo

  6. Another blogger told me that this was a HG product for her so it must certainly have something to offer. My lips seem to be forever dry so I'm sure I'd enjoy it.
