Antipodes Immortal SPF15 Natural Sun Protection

Antipodes is a brand I have only been introduced to this year but one I really love. Their Avocado and Rosehip Divine Face Oil is one of my absolute skin saviours and I will be sharing my thoughts on it and why I love it so much very soon. But today I am going to share with you the Immortal SPF15 Natural Sun Protector. It's a multi-purpose product; it can be used on both the face and the body. But I've been using it just on my face. Now you may be wondering, why am I writing about a product that protects you from the sun when I not only live in the UK, but it is now Autumn? Well, did you know that even when it isn't hot and sunny outside, UV rays from the sun can still affect and damage our skin? It's why 9/10 the moisturisers I pick for my face have a built in SPF. It's important, to me at least, to protect my skin in whatever way I can to prevent the signs of aging; and yes, at 24, skin ageing is something important to me.

Available in a 60ml tube, this moisturiser, one of Antipodes best sellers, contains super-antioxidant vinanza grape and kiwi extract which decreases redness and the effects of excess melanin production like freckles and age spots. It moisturises your skin whilst protecting it, and keeping your skin firm and flawless down to powerful, plant-based hyaluronic acid. It also contains ancient reishi mushroom which enhances cell turnover, too! You can apply this either on it's own, or before your usual moisturiser, which is how I have been using it. It's has quite a thin consistency and blends in really quickly and easily for an SPF based moisturiser. I actually find that since using this before my moisturiser, that my skin feels better prepped for makeup application too. I can see this lasting ages because of the consistency and when the UK weather warms up again next year I think this will be perfect as an upper body moisturiser as well as for my face. And amazingly, I've found it does reduce redness. Something I suffer with on my cheeks and have not been able to find a product before that can help! I've really enjoyed using this. It's a simple, but necessary step in any skincare routine!

You can find this wonder moisturiser on the Antipodes website and a 60ml tube costs £30. Do you use Antipodes? Tell me what your favourite product is!

  4. This Antipodes is good for skin because it contains reishi mushroom powder, an ancient medicinal herbs, which is more popular in the modern world.
