Shopping the Stash # 2 Reviews

Earlier this week I posted my second 'Shopping the Stash' post. If you didn't catch it, you can see the post here. Today I am going to be sharing my thoughts with you on the products I have been trying again! I didn't manage to do a FOTD with them, but I will feature these products in future FOTD posts so you can see what they are like on me!

I used the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation a few times this week and I definitely remember why I loved it when I first got it. It's just a really lovely foundation that sinks in to my skin beautifully and it leaves a lovely finish. It is quite long lasting, but it doesn't last all day on my skin, mainly because it isn't the best foundation for keeping the oil at bay. That said it does last for most of the day without needing to be touched up. I also like the coverage from this foundation. I wouldn't mind trying the matching concealer for this! I wore the E.l.f. lipstick quite a bit this week and oh how I love the shade. A deep, but also vivid, plum shade, I really don't know why I stopped using it. As I said earlier in the week during the post about which products I would be trying to use again this week, this was the lipstick I wore the most during my second year of University. I think it'll be perfect for Autumn/Winter and I'm hoping to get more use out of it. And considering it only cost £1.50, it is a really lovely, good quality lipstick. I'd quite like to try out a few other E.l.f lipsticks, particularly Deep Warm Pink Creme and Flirtatious. I used both the Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Mono eye-shadows and I love them. They apply easily, the colour is build-able and long lasting and the two shades go perfectly together or alone. The two combined is one of my favourite eye looks! I'm still in two minds over the E.l.f. Clarifying Pressed Powder. It does the job and it has nice coverage and is great for on the go. But I just don't think it's as good as my Rimmel London powder! And finally, the only product I didn't use this week. The E.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in shade teal. I just didn't find a day appropriate for wearing it. But I will endeavor to use it very soon!

So those are my thoughts on the products from this week's Shopping the Stash! If you've used any of these products, let me know what you think to them! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I really like doing these posts but I am going to hold off on them for a few weeks. I have some exciting posts coming each Monday for the next few weeks. After those, I will do more 'Shopping the Stash' posts!
