August 2012 Favourites

It's that time of the month again! Time to share my August favourites! I love doing my favourites posts as its a great way to share with you all the products I have been loving, just as much as I love seeing the favourites of you all, too! So if you have written a favourites post or done a favourites video, be sure to share it with me in the comments! So, what are my favourites for August?

Essence Multi Action False Lashes Mascara
I got sent this from my lovely pen-pal Fab, all the way from Italy. I just love using this as an everyday mascara. It makes my lashes stand out, lasts all day long and is easy to remove. I would love to try the other Essence mascaras! Oh how I wish we could get Essence here in the UK!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain - Romantic
The lovely Amiiee who runs Its Amiieeism sent me this in my package of American goodies, from her holiday over there and this has got to be the lip product I have reached for the most in August. It's just such a perfect red shade and considering when deciding on colours I wanted I thought this would be the shade I would wear the least, it's the complete opposite. This is my first choice every time! I will be reviewing this very soon along with the other Just Bitten Stains I have!

Balance Me Extra Care Wonder Eye Cream
I love Balance Me. I really do. They are just such a wonderful, natural, caring brand. And I adore every product I have used from the brand. I won't say too much about this eye cream here, as I will be reviewing it very shortly, so keep an eye out!

Revlon Lip Butter - Cherry Tart
Another Revlon product (they really are winning this year where lip products are concerned!) this gorgeous Lip Butter shade is one I received in my swap (news of that to come soon) This shade, Cherry Tart, is unfortunately not available in the UK. But my golly gosh, do I love it. It's just gorgeous.

Quo On the Beach Palette
This is another product I received in my swap (news coming soon!) and it was probably my most favourite thing in the swap. I've used it a fair few times now and I am just in love! I will be also be reviewing this very soon!

L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Creme
I received this in my June Joliebox and I have just really enjoyed using it, either day or night. It's a lovely, soothing and smoothing moisturiser which keeps the oil at bay, but keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I will be reviewing this soon, and I have also added the same sample sized version of this to my super huge International giveaway!

Lipsy Perfume
This Lipsy perfume is one of the many items I won in a huge giveaway and it just has such a lovely scent. It's very girly, floral with undertones of fruits. I also really love the bottle. A pale pink heart, it's probably the most girly looking perfume I have!

  1. It's so weird, I just reviews the Wonder Eye Cream myself, but I just can't take to Balance Me at all :( I've tried two things and hated one, and the eye cream just didn't do anything for me at all! Though, I'm using the JASON one now and I'm actually in love with it! :D xox

  2. Lol I actually agree with Tattooed Tea Lady, Anastasia! Maybe it's because I work so many night shifts :P the Balance Me eye cream works wonders on my dark circles and really cools and soothes my tired wee peepers. Nearly finished though, looking for a new eye cream, anyone recommend a good one? Budget isn't an issue, though a bargain would be lovely!

  3. I have the same lip butter colour, I absolutely love it. It's so close to red, but not (does that even make sense?) I'm definitely not confident enough to pull off a bold red, so Cherry Tart is perfect.

  5. It's so interesting to see that someone wants Essence products. :D
It probably is the most famous drugstore brand over here in Germany... I can send you Essence products, while you send me MUA, Sleek and Revlon things from the UK. :D

By the way, the palette looks lovely - the colours are so pretty! And the perfume sounds wonderful... another reason why I would loooove to win the giveaway. :')

  14. @Anastasia I think that's such a shame, as I get on so well with Balance Me products and think they are wonderful. The Jason Naturals C-Effects eye cream is wonderful. I adore it! And such a great natural brand xo

  15. @ironic_sparkles Same here Christina, it's worked wonders on mine. My bags are a bit bad atm due to lack of sleep but overall, it works wonders on my eye area. And I find the scent so soothing, too! Try the C-Effects one from Jason, and also, the Dirty Works eye cream is actually remarkably good xo

  20. @EilidhPie I think skincare is an area which is really so much more hit and miss than makeup. I find it takes longer to find the right products for me and my skin where skincare is concerned, than makeup! xo

  28. I have a lot of the same august favorites. For my moisturizer, the epicuren acidipholus biotic is my wife and I's favorite as well. we use it every day morning and night. Love how they improved the packaging too. the old bottles were such a pain. So you know we are legit, here is our store , and here is epicuren information...
