Shopping the stash # 1

A picture of a black bag
I've wanted to do a 'Shopping the stash' post for a while now but I just never got round to it. But after reading Meg's 'Shopping the stash' post I decided to stop being lazy and start doing this myself! I decided to pick items which I could create almost an entire look with. And I am going to keep them in a spare Joliebox bag so that they are easy to reach for and I have no excuses! I also want to create two FOTD looks using these, so I will be sharing the looks I create with them later in the week! So what have I picked for this week?

No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream
It's one of the BB creams from the vast range of BB creams that No7 have. This one is shade medium and for normal/oily skin.

MAC MatchMaster Foundation
This was actually the first ever MAC purchase I made! I've mentioned it before in a foundation post, which you can read here. (I will be doing an updated foundation post soon!) I like this foundation, but I don't love it anymore. So I want to get using it again both to use it up and also to see if I can fall in love with it again! The shade I use is 4.0.

Rimmel London ScandalEyes Mascara
This is actually one of my favourite mascaras. I adore Rimmel for mascaras and they are the brand for mascaras that I repurchase the most. But I just haven't used this in ages! So I want to get using it more!

No7 Amazing Eyes Eye Pencil
This has been my favourite eyeliner for around four years now. I always repurchase it because it's so black and it sticks around, but I've not reached for it for a while!

Inika Eye Pencil
The Inika eyeliners are so beautiful. They are creamy and really long lasting. I got this, which is shade Peacock Blue, in my first ever Glossybox and I just think its lovely for the bottom line.

Benefit Erase Paste
One of my lovely blogging friends sent me this and I used it once, then forgot about it. Mainly because it's so diddy and disappears into my piles of makeup. So I'm looking forward to using more of this this week!

Sleek Lipsticks
I've picked two of my Sleek lipsticks for this week's shopping of le stash, as I think each will suit a variety of looks. The shades are Peaches & Cream and Coral Reef.

Sleek Blushes
I've also picked two Sleek blushes for this week. I love blushes, but I'm not very confident with them. So I am forcing myself to branch out this week! The blushes are a single blush in shade Pomegranate and a Blush by 3 Palette in shade Pumpkin.

17 Eyes
I absolutely love these little 17 trios and I used to wear them obsessively, but as my makeup collection has grown, these have been somewhat forgotten. So I really can't wait to get using these again! The more bronzey shade trio is called Vengence and the other trio is called Broken Hearted.

So these are the products I am hoping to use more of this week. As well as doing the FOTD posts using these products, I will review each one in a post next Sunday. I want to make this a regular thing!

  1. i need a new mascara, so may try the rimmel one! i'm the same with the 17 trios, the sleek and urban decay palettes have taken over from them and they are now neglected, they're great for the price though! x

  4. I always like seeing shopping the stash posts. Be interesting to see your FOTD with the 17 trios, as I have a couple of these myself and haven't ever managed a good look with them - I always end up looking like a clown! x

  7. I love Scanadleyes mascara too, although not many other people seem to agree and I don't understand why! I really want to try a Sleek blush, I only have one thing from them!

  18. @Lola andBehold It takes some practice I think, as some of the shades in them are so vivid! I used to over-do it with them, I have to be a lot more gentle and easy-going with them now xo

  19. @Laura I thought it'd be a good idea to keep them all in one place and easy to reach! :) xo

  23. @Vicki I agree about the BB cream. I need to learn not to overdo it when I use it though, as I tend to still use my powders etc and it can be too much xo
