Cleansing and Moisturising with Purity Organic Skincare

A picture of Purity Skincare Products
I recently reviewed the Purity Exfoliator and Serum & Mask, which you can read here. There are four more products I have been trying from Purity and these are the products I am going to review for you today!

Both the facial wash and conditioning cleansing lotion come in really neat, big bottles. I like the size of these bottles because you get a huge amount of product, but I do prefer pump mechanisms in my products as I find them easier to use, and the style of these were a little messy to use and you can't really control the amount of product that comes out, especially with the facial wash.

The facial wash, like all products from Purity, is fragrance free. It is 98% natural and 70% organic! The facial wash is a blend of softening, moisture retaining and conditioning sweet almond oil, aloe vera and glycerine combined with a gentle coconut and sugar-based foam to cleanse, sooth and protect the skin. As well as this added citric acid controls the skins natural pH levels. I liked using this facial wash, although I didn't find it foamed up at all, which is something I really like my facial washes to do. It's super gentle though and really works well to clean and moisturise your skin, leaving it feeling soft and looking clear.

The conditioning cleansing lotion is a cleanser and make up remover combined. Perfect for sensitive skin, this cleansing lotion is fragrance free, 98% natural and 83% organic. An effective skin conditioning cleanser, it has a blend of clever ingredients which effectively break down and gently remove the day's grime and make-up. Special ingredients combine with the softening, moisture retaining and conditioning sweet almond oil, aloe vera and glycerine base. Oats condition and restore, amino acids help the skin to absorb moisture, avocado oil conditions the skin and euphrasia and rose water tone the skin. What I like most about this is how gentle it is, as well as the fact that it has an in-built toner due to it's lovely natural ingredients. It's easy to use and perfect for all skin types. I really like both the face wash and cleansing lotion!

So far I have really loved using the face wash, cleansing lotion, serum & mask and the exfoliator. But because my skin type is oily/combination, the next two products didn't suit my skin type. I just found they didn't sink in, they were too thick and they didn't do anything to help my oily skin. That said, if you have sensitive or specifically dry skin, then these two moisturisers are definitely perfect for you!

The moisturiser designed for using in the morning is the anti-aging moisturiser. Fragrance free, 98% natural and 75% organic, this is a powerful moisturiser designed to improve and protect the skin. It's is rich in cranberry seed oil, with omega 3, 6 and 9 the essential fatty acids your skin needs to help prevent aging. It also contains rosehip seed oil, which is renowned for its powerful skin-conditioning and restorative properties and vitamin E as a protecting antioxidant. Ceramide 3 limits the loss of water from the skin and rose flower water acts as a skin toner (bonus!!!) These hard-working ingredients are blended in sweet almond oil, shea butter, beeswax and aloe vera and combien to boost the skin's own functions and help prevent premature aging.

The regenerating overnight moisturiser is fragrance free for sensitive skin, 98% natural and 76% organic. It is a deep, repairing and healing cream with sweet almond oil, beeswax and aloe vera soften and protect the skin. Ceramide 3 reinforces the moisture barrier of the skin and improves long term moisturisation, protecting sustained daytime environmental damage. Add to this vitamin E, and the health of your skin is improved, leaving it restored and ready to face another day.

As I said - These moisturisers may not have been good for my skin, but if you have sensitive or dry skin, I have no doubt in my mind that these would be perfect for you!

  8. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. I’ll give you a link on your web blog. I recently came to know about https://avanaaustralia.com.au/, their Organic Skincare products are very effective.
