L'oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick

When the Revlon Lip Butters hit the UK, all I could see was people comparing them to the L'oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks. Well, I was already in love with the Revlon Lip Butters, so I thought why not pick up one of these much talked about L'oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks and see exactly what all the fuss was about?

I decided on Impulsive Fuchsia, because lets be honest, everyone loves a pink lip shade. The L'oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks are available in 13 shades in the UK. I already want to add Dating Coral and Metallic Coral to my ever growing lip collection, after falling in love with this shade.

The L'oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks are advertised as a flutter of kissable soft light-weight colour with a delicate texture which glides onto the lips creating a veil of colour with luminous shine. They have a weightless sensation, luminous and fresh colour, meltingly soft application, a pop of colour and feather light feel.

The way these lipsticks are advertised is exactly how this product works and feels. Much like the Revlon Lip Butters, they are soft and easy to apply, leaving your lips feeling soft and nourished. Although I only have this one shade from the range, I do think that the colour pay off for these lipsticks is just that touch better than the Revlon Lip Butters. So easy to apply, long lasting and the perfect pigmentation, this has not only become one of my favourite lip products, but also one of my top lipstick choices for the summer!

  2. I've heard so much about these too but have never picked one up because of owning the Revlon Lip Butters. Great post and comparison so I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on one of these at some point!

  3. I went into Boots the other day and swatched all of the revlon lip butters, and i'm just not into them. I don't know why really they just don't seem to stand out for me and I don't want to buy one just to have it. However THIS looks awesome! I'll definitely need to have a look at these in store x

  7. I love these as well. The only problem I have with them is that they sometimes make my lips feel a bit dry after they wear out.

  17. Agreed - love these lippies. I only have two, but ravishing red is probably one of my fav red's ever for exactly the reasons you've listed! amazing colour payoff, moisturising, and it lasts for quite a while too. although it is very transferrable and i find it getting all over my mugs which isn't cool.

  18. This isn't the first time I've read such a great review for this product. I love the look of the swatches I've seen, they look so light however moisturizing. I'd love to give them a bit of a try!
