The 100 Day Challenge - Update # 6

And so we reach the end of week 7 and update 6 of The 100 Day Challenge! This week hasn't been too bad. There's nothing much that has massively grabbed my eye, but I have been lusting after the Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains even more now that everyone and their dog seems to be talking about them and reviewing them! This week was also my birthday week. On Tuesday I turned 24 (super scary!) and so I have had that to occupy me. I will be doing a little birthday post over the weekend, so if you are interested keep an eye out for that!

Today is an exciting day and one where I can actually spend money without feeling guilty about it. So far on the challenge I haven't broken the challenge or spent any money except for the things allowed within my personal rules. Tonight I am off into Nottingham to do three very exciting things. First, I am off to the Nottingham Lush event which sees the launch of Emotional Brilliance, their new make up range. I am super excited as it is my first event! I will be taking lots of photos and will do a lovely little blog post on the event and Emotional Brilliance for you all next week! After the event I am off to TGI Friday's for my birthday meal. Originally there was going to be my, my partner and six of my friends. Unfortunately, most of my friends have pulled out for various reasons and it will now be just me, my partner and my two friends Stacie and Emily. But I'm still really looking forward to it. I can't wait to dig in to some Jack Daniels wings and an English Garden cocktail! After this, me and my partner are off to see the new Batman film; The Dark Knight Rises. I am so, so excited about this, as a massive Batman fan. But as well as this, I am excited because for this film, Wayne Manor was filmed at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham. Somewhere I spent many happy childhood days.

So, lets see what has made it on to my wish list this week!

EOS Lip-balms / Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel

L'Oreal Caresse Lipsticks / Real Techniques Starter Set

Not a lot at all on this week's wish list. Which I think is good because so far in the 7 weeks of doing this challenge I have managed to add 51 (including these four) items to my wish list! That's a hell of a lot and I think I need to go back, reassess things I have put on my wish list and decide just how much I actually want everything, and whether there is anything I don't really want anymore. The EOS lip balms are a popular lip balm in the blogosphere. It seems most people have at least one and they have always interested me, but I have so many lip balms I just avoided adding it to my wish list because I'm not sure I can justify it. But what the hell! I saw a lovely review of these EOS lip-balms on Lets Talk Beauty which is run by the very lovely Vicki and I decided what the hell, it's about time I admitted I want one of these! Since trying a sample of the Ginvera Green Tea BB Cream (you can read my review of it here) I am even more intrigued by Ginvera and their other products. The lovely Sherrie did a really great review of their Marvel Gel over on her blog Beauty in the Mirror Blog, and that's how this wonder gel has ended up on my wish list! I only have one L'oreal Caresse lipstick, in shade 02 Impulsive Fuchsia, but after reading a review by Sandra on her lovely blog The Puzzle of Sandra's Life I now desperately want to add Dating Coral to my collection! And last but not least, the Real Techniques Starter Set. I was hoping I was going to get these for my birthday but it seems I got a conversation mixed up with the bestie and alas, I didn't get them. So these are now on my wish list after wanting them for at least four months now!

So there you have it. Four lovely things to add to my ever growing list. Next hurdle to pass will be Monday and Tuesday when I am off to London for two resit exams. On both days I have to get up at 2:45am, get ready and be on my coach for 4am to head to London to my Uni. I am getting trains back and St Pancras is always a bugger when trying to avoid the shops. My daddy-o is helping me out though and has very kindly given me money to get breakfast and lunch with each day. So hopefully that should stop me spending any money!

Are you taking part in The 100 Day Challenge? How are you doing? Please let me know below! Are any of these products on your wish list? Or do you have them? What do you think of them? Let me know!

You can read all about the challenge and why I decided to do it, here.
You can also read updates 1, 2, 34 and 5.
