About a month ago now on Twitter, the Purity Skincare Twitter page asked if any bloggers would like to be sent some of their range to test out and review. Of course, I like many bloggers, jumped at the chance. They said they would love to send me some products and I expected maybe a few samples, or one or two full sized products. In fact, what I received was 6 of their 7 products, all in full sizes. I was amazed! I received...

Purity Organic Skincare Facial Wash
Purity Organic Skincare Conditioning Cleansing Lotion
Purity Organic Skincare Facial Exfoliator and Deep Pore Cleanser
Purity Organic Skincare Anti-Aging Moisturiser
Purity Organic Skincare Regenerating Overnight Moisturiser
Purity Organic Skincare Anti-Aging Serum & Mask

Today I am going to be reviewing the Facial exfoliator and deep pore cleanser, and the anti-aging serum and mask.

Of all the products I was sent, the facial exfoliator was my favourite. I always like to read every last detail on a product before trying it out and I was so pleasantly surprised to find this contained ground coconut shell. I don't think I've ever had a product with ground coconut shell in before! As well as this it has coconut oil, sweet almond oil and aloe vera, to leave your skin cleaner, softer and brighter.

This was a lovely product to use - although every time I used it I did wish on all the fairies, that I would somehow get a gorgeous smell of coconut shinning through, but alas, they are all really fragrance free as advertised. It's a really gentle exfoliator to use, feels incredibly creamy and the ground coconut shell is the perfect size to do it's job without being abrasive! It also left my skin feeling very soft afterwards, which is exactly what we want!

The Anti-Aging Serum and Mask took some getting used to. I adore using face masks, in fact I do about three a week! But I've never come across a mask which was so liquidy and this was very slippery to use. It is described as a powerful treatment to boost your skin's natural regeneration process. Sweet almond oil and aloe vera combine with cranberry seed oil, rich in omega 3, 6 and 9, to help repair the skin and assist with moisture retention. There's also rosewater in there which tones the skin and antioxidant vitamin E which improves and protects the look and feel of skin.

The packaging suggests applying a very generous layer over the skin and allowing to do it's business for 10 minutes before washing off. Alternatively you can leave it on over night for an extra-intensive mask. I decided to stick to my usual when it comes to face masks and I washed it off after ten minutes. During application, as I said, it was very slippery. But I found by the end of the end of the 10 minutes it had dried; almost rubberised. Once I washed it off I found my skin very soft.

These are just two of the six products I will be reviewing for you from Purity Organic Skincare and you can expect another review on the remaining products later in the week where I give you some more little gems about them as a brand, their ethics and my overall opinion on their products.

Until then you can find out more about Purity Organic Skincare on their website here.

  1. this is so nifty -- i LOVE anything that is organic! (the thought of putting all sorts of crazy chemicals on my face sort of makes me cringe. yikes.)
anyway, i've already found my holy grail exfoliator (lush's angels on bare skin, ftw!), but like you i LOVE face masks! i do one on most nights, and it's amazing what a difference it can make! i don't think i have ever tried a mask that has omega 3's in it, but it would be worth a shot. i take cod liver oil supplements (plenty of omega 3's and vitamin D) and the difference it can make is amazing!
but overall i have a genuine interest in purity. can't wait to see more posts about it soon!

  2. Wow those look gorgeous! I love the sound of the first one! The second one does sound a bit strange haha, but as long as it does the job!
Very generous of them to send you so many products! I love when companies do that, because skin care especially can take a little longer to test the effects rather than say, a lipstick!

    Great reviews though! :) xx

  3. That serum and mask sounds perfect. I'll have to search it out in Superdrug.

  4. Our muscles become deflated with age, losing their moisture like a dry sponge. Acupuncture restores the natural internal irrigation so the 'sponge' is plumped up again and the wrinkles disappear. Treatments include addressing the facial muscles directly because the electro-stimulation of the natural electric charge in the muscle re-establishes the natural flow and the charge/discharge cycle. This enlivens the tissue. Fluids can move through as they did in youth. Kathleen's PEMF instrument quickens the process of rebuilding skin and muscle tissue, while improving the face's senses: vision, hearing, brain power, and also alleviating depression, as confirmed in numerous studies!

  6. Before my horse can never walked normally. I have tried different kind of approach and medicine until one doctor suggested to have a PEMF at first I never believed him until I see the result. Now my horse can walk normally but still it cannot run. Maybe a few more therapy and he can properly run.
